Stop watching the show. NOW. It's one of the few books to maintain my interest more than a few minutes.
Somebody sell me on this book series, honestly. What I've heard about it paints a picture of Lord of the Rings mixed with "Who did who, who married who, who birthed who" Soap-Opera stuff.
I started reading the first GoT book. Got through the first chapter and I was lost in a sea of names. Probably going to at least start the show before I pick the book back up so that I can at least get a face to match a name with..
@TSB I considered it pretty spoilery that you mentioned that Spoiler Ben dies and Peter starts doing photography for the DB. I thought Ben might live through the first film at the very least, and I had heard that the film didn't introduce J. Jonah. Jameson, so assumed that The Daily Bugle wasn't in it either I'll definitely watch it IMAX, might watch in 3D.
Emma Stone knew all about Gwen Stacy when she signed on to the role. I think in an interview she said she'd be up for dying. And when Web was questioned on the subject he's been pretty vague but it appears he's fond of the story. She was all ready to be a part of The Dark Knight but Tom Cruise convinced her otherwise. Instead she was in Mad Money, a comedy where her, Diane Keeton and Queen Latifa rob a bank. It did terribly and it was terrible(I have seen it). I saw it in V-Max 3D, the closest thing to Imax, it's a big screen but not as big. Adelaide hasn't had an imax screen in over a decade. And then saw it in plain old 2D. Both were great. It's up to you, if you want to see 3D go ahead but you're not losing anything if you don't.
Altered Beast - Rise From Your Grave - YouTube Yeah V-Max that's what I meant. ****ing Event Cinemas.
I like V-Max. Mostly because the V-Max cinema has slightly larger seats which makes a world of difference when you're sitting on it for 2+ hours. The Dark Knight Rises running time, by the way, has been confirmed for 2:44.27.
You've gotta be kidding me. Come on dude, being upset that I said his uncle dies? Everything is the same, it just happens differently. Half of the trailer doesn't even happen in the movie. There's your spoiler.
I'd be angry too if I was excited for it. I don't know why I wasn't particularly interested in it, or cared when those things were said, but 99% of the time I want to go in blind when I see a movie. I even force myself to forget what happens in the trailer almost every time.
I understand that, but those weren't the kind of spoilers that one tip-toes around, particularly when the story has been told a million times over. I have gone wayyyyyy out of my way to NOT discuss anything of a real spoiler nature. Not even in tags. It's too easy to be curious and just click it. Anyone who thought Uncle Ben lives is crazy. I am sorry about the photography thing. I wish I could explain how minuscule it truly is, but I don't want to further the situation with him.
