Marc Webb said he's not saying who it is and that he's encouraging speculation. It's not really spoilery but I'll hide it anyway... Spoiler There's a fair bit of speculation but I'd say there are three most are guessing: Norman Osborne, Peter's Father or Mysterio(I guess for his magical powers being able to teleport himself in and out of Curt Connors' cell. Either way, the Amazing Spider-Man is just that; amazing. It puts Raimi's entire trilogy to shame.
i didnt even know Marc Webb directed it ahah, man, why am i so bad at this movie thing. and i just watched Spidey 2... i still love it
New spiderman was awesome, not perfect, but at least the characters were so much closer to what they should have been. Plus, the acting was decent, and emma stone is pretty hot.
talking about the amazing spiderman Spoiler One of my favorite thoughts during the movie was when Gwen's dad discovered spidey's identity, my immediate first thought was "oh he is doomed, totally going to die" as well as when he said "you go on, I got [this]" and my thought was "damnit never let an ally say that, he is so screwed" But yeah I'd say this movie is possibly the best rendition of a superhero movie I've seen that actually stayed close to the original. Otherwise its on par with Dark Knight. Spoiler Stan Lee's appearance also makes this movie just that much more awesome. Plus I love little scenes like that where somebody is just going about their day while something insane happens behind them
In the future, either quote someone talking about the movie you're about to spoil, or mention the movie you're about to spoil outside said spoilers. Thank you.
They'll probably do another spiderman trilogy, since thats how all these superhero movies have been doing lately. (and since a trilogy is all you can really get away with in a franchise without people thinking "stop that ****, dude"). So, assuming the second Amazing spiderman movie comes out 2014, we can then assume that the third amazing spiderman movie will come out in 2016. Then, if sony doesn't want the rights to the movie to revert to marvel, we'll probably see a "Re-boot" or some other form of spiderman movie in 2019-2020. If they decide to let the rights revert, there's no way to accurately gauge when another spiderman movie will come about, though in ten years I'm sure the "Remake all the old Superheros" fade will have fallen out in movies. So, best case scenario (though extremely unlikely) I'd be able to audition for the part sometime around 2019. I'd be 26. Though, the new guy is 28. So I might be able to pull off a sarcastic and geeky, yet handsome, highschool aged student at 26.
The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) The Spectacular Spider-Man (2014) Araña: The Heart of the Spider (2017) More likely: The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) The Amazing Spider-Man 3 (2017)
What? That's pretty much exactly what I said. An "amazing Spider-man" trilogy. You even used pretty much the same dates as me.
he's saying those 3 would be his ideal trilogy, instead of the likely lame Amazing Spiderman 1, 2, and 3. i'm with him, especially for Arana: The Heart of the Spider
Do you want lame old Miles Morales after Peter Parker, or a half chick to lighten up this sausage fest with a half Mexican and half Puerto Rican fireball. Look at those glove pockets. And backpack strap pockets. She knows what people like to see. Pockets.
I've never really been a huge fan of comic book characters that are just girl versions of famous male characters. I've always seen them as kind of a cop out, instead of designing brand-new characters, or a way for comic book artists to jam more boobs on a page. Though, to each his own. I just don't think it would work well for a movie.
