I don't think I'm going to watch it in theaters, but I'm sure it's going to be better then the past three, and it does hold a 79% Fresh rating (which is higher then Prometheus.) But its not out yet, so that number is going to change. So I don't know, man.
I like the style of this one much better, from the costumes to what I've seen of the camera work in previews (Not that that is reliable), plus, the new main actor has to be better. Spidermans' snarky come-backs seem to be around this time which is great. And the Lizard. He's a pretty cool villain.
The big difference between the movies is that the first three relied heavily on CGI whereas the new one has people doing the actual stunts. Whether that means it will be better or not, I don't know. Also Tobey Maguire isn't that bad and he does look a lot more like Peter Parker than Andrew Garfield.
Tobey Maguire is that bad and he doesn't look more like Peter Parker than Andrew Garfield. You mean that one snarky comeback he makes in the trailer that isn't funny? At all?
Whether or not you think Tobey Maguire is a good actor or not is up to you, but Andrew Garfield looks more like Peter Parker? I don't think so.
[br][/br]Edited by merge: The way he said it, the difference could have been marginal or the same. BAM! What are you gonna do?
Andrew Garfield looks way way more like peter parker, even if he has a loftier haircut. He also embodies the youthfulness that Tobey Maguire never nailed (which is partly the fault of the writers since they didn't even bother making him a smartass as his character clearly is). That being said, I highly doubt there'll ever be a spiderman movie as good as Spiderman 2.
Everyone knows that in Essias' mind there's only one Spider-Man. The Venture Bros.: The Cab Trap - YouTube
