Nightmare

    To Be A MX Or A SX? That Is The Question.
    When making this map, I wanted something different, so I thought of a ghost map. Why? It adds a sort of competitive nature to the map, as you still have all the turning and jumping to do as if in a 'goose, but now with the added abilities to ram easier than a mongoose or a 'hog. Not only that, but you now have to know when to boost and when to conserve it, if you boost off of a jump, you will obviously go faster and if you boost you can go around someone, but you could run out of the boost and be passed. And lastly, you have to watch out for those N00Bs that don't seem to notice that you aren't taking damage from their blue balls of plasma.
    What else is different? Well obviously the fact that it is a ghost map, which are few and far between. The only thing that is more rare (rarer?) is a banshee map.

    Name is not the most original, but that's okay. It does relate to the Ghosts, so I can understand why you picked it. Speaking of those, Ghosts in a racetrack are always a real challenge, both to forge and to race on. I didn't do it too often but I kind of like it because you should boost most of the time, yet keep in mind when it really matters to boost. (For example say, when there's a jump ahead)
    A Ghost on an MX/SX track though, is even more challenging and by that also even more original and cool. The aesthetics look neat as well, this looks like a great track!

    Well made map. My only complaint in the layout department is the final turn back to start where you crossover part of the track, and there really isn't much room to get a good arc on your turn. I really like the idea of this map, as ghosts provide a different competitive edge to SX. However, I don't think you took it far enough. With ghosts and the limited boosts, you have an opportunity to give people different options as to when and where to boost, such as in long straightaways or whether to take two small jumps without a boost or one big one with a boost. You don't have to think much on this map, though, because you just hold boost on a jump, let off to turn, then hold boost to hit the next jump. It's fun, don't get me wrong, but there could be a lot more strategy involved.

    How does this work?do players spawn in ghosts?do they get out of their mongooses and hop in the ghost?i have not seen an option in the race gametype to spawn in anything other than mongooses and warthogs.

    You can set it to spawn in Ghosts just like Mongooses or Warthogs. It's under Race Options.

    Hmm I've never even seen it lol or maybe I did but just forgot.
