so i will be buying Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt when it comes out over here in a few weeks. its pretty awesome.
It's an interesting idea, but highly impractical. I don't even think a country could afford to make giant mechs and the necessary weaponry to accompany them, haha. Still, assuming it won't target me, it would be ****ing sweet to see a legitimate one. China did make one out of cardboard or something though. They'll come out with a cardboard Archangel next. Cool, I think somebody recommended it some time ago, but I never got around to watching it. How good is it? EDIT: Though I think Spice and Wolf should be higher, I agree with just about everything on this list: Top 25 Anime That Need Sequels Spoiler 1. To Aru Kagaku no Railgun 2. TIGER & BUNNY 3. Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou 4. Gintama 5. To Aru Majutsu no Index 6. THE iDOLM@STER 7. The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 8. Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai 9. Durarara! 10. Natsume’s Book of Friends 11. The World God Only Knows 12. Lucky☆Star 13. Nichijou 14. Blue Exorcist 15. Ro-kyu-bu! 16. Mayo Chiki! 17. Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid 18. Sekai-Ichi Hatsukoi 2 19. I'm disappointed Toradora isn't on that list. Index got a sequel so I've no idea why it's on there. Old list is old.
Nooo, a sequel to the sequel. I hate it when a series ends with a cliffhanger, but it tends to happen a lot these days. The anime I would love to see continued are: Working!! Index Spice & Wolf Durarara!! Angel Beats! Denpa Onna because I love Touwa Arakawa Under the Bridge Welcome to the NHK! I wouldn't mind a sequel to Toradora either. Maybe something like Clannad: After Story where it covers their lives after high school.
Sky, Index isn't on the list. Railgun is. I'd like a sequel or second season to: • Mayo Chiki! • Darker Than BLACK • Kamisama no Memochou • Mirai Nikki I feel like Toradora and Spice and Wolf left off at good places. Unlike Mayo Chiki and Darker Than BLACK, they left off at abrupt parts in the story where there should have been a continuation.
Yes, yes you will. There isn't a whole lot in terms of fanservice, but it's a great anime nonetheless. I would be pissed of Index wasn't on that list, haha. I think the novel or the manga goes furthur into the series with World War III, Russia, and ****.
Oh snap, I derped there. I just saw Railgun and dismissed that they could have both on there. Sorry bout that. And, I doubt you could NOT like Mirai Nikki in some way. Seriously. I'll tell you now a slight spoiler: Spoiler The main character becomes a BADASS about 2/3rds through the series.
Why would you want a sequel to Welcome to the NHK or Toradora? They both had great endings. I can agree with spice and wolf, since the s2 ending wasnt the most concluding.
Spice & Wolf didn't necessarily have to continue, but it should have in my opinion. It's because there were things left unresolved that it felt 90% complete to me. There was a sense of closure with Toradora and NHK, but I think they had the potential to have great second seasons.
I would be content with a Spice and Wolf movie to continue the story, like the Eden of the East movies. Nothing more than that though.
Is it just me or is a lot of anime coming out these days pandering to peoples inner pedophile? I miss the older anime.
lol I actually went into an anime shop down here the other day, I did not see a single one that didn't have some 8 year old girl on the cover in the recent releases section.
8 years old? Too old. JK. But a little bit of fanservice is ok. Just not with small children. Unless it's Strike Witches or TLR Darkness. And damn you asch.
Well, you can't say anything about Shinobu (girl in my sig), she's like 500 years old. As for recent releases WITHOUT 8 year olds or anything close to that as a main drawing factor in them; Fate/Zero Another Steins;Gate (kinda recent-ish) Dusk Maiden of Amnesia Sankarea Zetman Kuroko no Basket Accel World And while some of these have't gotten their bluray or dvd set release yet, they are out there for you to watch. With no pedophilia. Also, I just finished Sankarea and Dusk Maiden of Amnesia today. The ending to Dusk Maiden of Amnesia was super sad, then happy. It reminded me of Spice and Wolf in the way things turn out at the end for the main characters. Sankarea left off at a cliffhanger kinda, so it gives me the feeling they will do a second season, if not it won't really have an ending to it.
Anyone can draw a 5 year old and say she is 500. I will still have no interest in watching it lol. I'll look up the ones you suggested though.
