ive played through almost every quest with multiple characters, ive covered probably every square foot of the game world on foot, ive encountered quite a few random encounters, yes its fun to walk on foot sometimes. but sometimes, when youve already played the game a lot, and the quest wants you to go all the way across the ****ing map, i just wanna fast travel.

i played morrowind more than ive played skyrim, and i immensely enjoyed, i think its a much better game overall than skyrim. i dunno if youve played it, i doubt it since you were probably about five when it cam out, but theres no fast travel in morrowind. one thing that annoyed me was walking everywhere. when oblivion came out and i played it, i thought "thank the nine divines, i can instantly travel places." i used it fairly sparingly, i like walking short-medium distances, but fast travel is still a good feature to have. why would bethesda add it to oblivion and then keep it in skyrim if they really didnt want people to use it at all? its a convenience to use it occasionally, thats why its in the game. its just dumb to take out that feature. if you dont want to use it at all, youre not forced to, but some people want to. so dont act like never using fast travel is a superior way to play the game.

Dragon shout mod: You shout "I like trains" and a ghost train (dwemmer of course) flies from your mouth and tramples your foes.

I've been gaming since the age of three. Morrowind, Halo, and Fable top my list of my all time favorite games. I killed that game. The story, and the world were just so much superior. I felt that Bethesda added fast travel to Oblivion to avoid complaining from the people who thought traveling these long distances was a chore. To appeal to a wider audience. I never said it was more superior, I just believe it to be more enjoyable. While some people think this "unnecessary" traveling was a huge inconvenience, I never got tired of travelling manually. It makes the game more immersive, and finding something else the fourth time around was so rewarding. I wish that they made a convenient way to travel large distances whilst still enjoying the game. If horses didn't suck so much, I doubt half the people would fast travel.

I never get when people have problems with a feature that's optional. You don't want to use fast travel, that's your prerogative, don't pass judgement on others who use optional features just because you don't use them.

1600 microsoft points, which is in my opinion a very good price for an expansion pack. I just hope the quest line is going to be very long.

Don't really want to drag out the fast travel argument but I feel I need to point this out; enjoyment is a personal opinion, and opinion is not fact. Yes, I understand that you, and others enjoy manually travelling everywhere. I also understand that there are those who do not, myself included.

Obviously fast travelling isn't for everyone, just like playing a mage character isn't for everyone. Look past your differences and be better for it. We don't need to get irritated at each other over something as silly as fast travelling, I mean, there isn't anyone in here going around saying " MAGE MASTER RACE, ALL OTHERS ARE RETARDED".

Press up on the d-pad, select revert back to human from the favorites menu, and then press the right bumper.

I never had a problem with it. I can choose how to play the way I want. Dawnguard better be as good as I've been hoping to wait another month. I hate Microsoft and their exclusivity bribes.

Also: Drive-able dwemer airships are full of win.

Dat Dawnguard ****, weapons/spells in spoiler incase you want to find them yourself.
Dawnguard warhammer - Bash to place a fire rune that deals 50 damage
Dawnguard Sheild - Bonus damage on bash against vampire, prolonged shielding provides radiant damage to undead (10/s)
Some Stendarr aura thing - 10 radiant damage within melee range per second for 60 seconds
Some Radiant Fireball thing - 40 Radiant damage on contact, similar to Firebolt
    Draven Crossbow - 'Nuff said
Exploding [insert element here] bolts - 'Nuff said

Haven't tried a vampire yet, going to complete the Dawnguard side of things first. 21 hours in and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface.

for vampires (yea that's right, **** those dawnguards):
    Weapons:
Auriel's Bow - 60 points of sun damage against undead
Bloodcursed Elven Arrow - blacks out the sun when shot from Auriel's Bow
    crossbow - everyone get's it
Sunthingy (forgot the name) Elven Arrow - creates an explosion of light when shot from Auriel's Bow and does some collateral damage
Horkon's Sword - (absorbs 15 points of health, magicka, and stamina when held by a vampire) badass vampire king's katana after you tell the prior one to go **** himself

    Apparel:
Ancient Falmer Boots/Cuirass/Gautnlets - badass white elven/ebony white armor
Vampire Royal Armor - (magicka regen 125% faster) badass vampire king's robes after you tell the prior one to go **** himself.
