Ooh! You don't suppose holograms show up on Promethean Vision? By my reckoning, it'd be near impossible to tell them apart from real players at a glance, given the way Pro.Vision works.
I recall them saying that Holograms do indeed show up on Promethean vision in one of the MLG game-play commentary videos. I don't feel like looking for it, but I distinctly remember it being said and thinking how cool that was. They don't seem to flicker as much either...can't say for sure if they show up as red on radar like they do for the host in Reach, but I hope they will. Any buffs to Hologram are a-okay in my book. I might actually bother using it every now and then. Edit: Also, if you go to r/Halo on Reddit, there's a post there that shows leaked pictures of 3 new Promethean weapons. One looks like an AR variant, the other is clearly a Sniper, and the last one is some kind of heavy weapon/explosive looking dealio.
I remember holograms looking just like real players when Promethean Vision as activated, and I definitely remember holograms showing up red on radar. I just saw the new weapons. One of them does look like a sort of AR style weapon, the other has a really long barrel and a scope so is clearly a sniper, and the other is quite short and looks like it will be a grenade launcher. I like the individual looks of the Forerunner weapons, but together they all look the same, just with different light decals and different lengths.
Yes, it in confirmed in the videos that holograms show up as enemies on promethean vision and also red. I cannot see a way to tell any difference while using prom. vision between hologram and person. They also might show red on radar, not positive on that though. As for the prom. weapons, they might look alike but the same can be said for human weapons. They are all a grey color and have the same format, as do the prom. weapons. The only faction that doesn't have this so far seems to be the covenant (massive variation between plasma pistol, needler, carbine, and sword for example).
The human weapons and the covenant weapons all have memorable and very separate silhouettes though. These... just don't. They all look like variations of the same gun. The new Storm Rifle suffers the same problem, it looks just like the carbine from afar. If they didn't have the text over them when you look at them, I'd have trouble in a quick moving scenario.

The rule is that you can discuss the leaks, as long as you don't post sources to those leaks. That's why. Second, a lot of people have concluded that Mickey and Buck may return in some form (main belief is that they joined the Infinity and possibly became Spartan IVs) since their voice actors were in that video. It could be incredibly wrong, they could just be there for the party, but that would be pretty cool if the old ODST squad was involved.

So, any one care to explain to me what counts as "leaked" content here and what doesn't? I don't want to post something official only to get smacked with an infraction here for "leaked" content.
The 1st vid I posted was leaked. So they edited it out of the post, leaving the compilation vid there. I can find it and message it to ya. I shouldn't get smacked for that.
