I don't know if this was already discussed, but it looks to me like the radar no longer shows height information about other players.
Hence why I said a bit. the stuff that happened automatically was how your character looked. People don't really like it when they cannot control things like that anymore.
It's more like skyrim (aside from the training). Yeah, I think it'd have to be a PC game, or like, a massive-budget (read:marketing) console title.
Same here really. It'll reward players with better situational awareness - those who know the enemy player can't be at a certain level of the map because of X reason/s. It's better for teams who call out properly too, something I can definitely get behind.
Honestly yeah, controller layout seems like an insignificant detail in the grand scheme of Halo games. Maps, weapons changes, vehicle changes, and base player trait changes are really what is most important to me.
How you actively interact with the machine that is running all of these "simulations" is pretty important. No game with **** controls has ever been looked at as a good game.
If you watch the campaign trailer again you'll notice that not only can you see part of the helmet interior but it also moves as you move around.
I think that Sprint replenishes constantly instead of everything at once so a lá COD. Not sure if it is, looks like it in the vid with the carbine 5 posts above.
Apparently, you can't pick up grenades without a specialization for it. Kind of odd, I think. This and unlocking weapons are the only problems I really have with the game right now, though (even though it still resembles COD in many, unnecessary ways).
I'm pretty sure there is a perk that gives you "enhanced awareness" which I'd assume is 3D radar, though I'm glad it's gone by default.
