I think that for Infinity Slayer it just goes until time runs out. I'm pretty sure I saw a few games where the scores were something like 520-460 at the end of the game. I might be wrong though and there might just be a higher score limit.
its probably because the base score for a kill is 10, so 50 kills would be 500, but some kills get bonus points too, so 600 points in infinity slayer would be roughly 50 kills.

Maybe, but the one map he has posted is a mini-game with a very simplistic map, so that tells me nothing. Just about everyone I know who makes great competitive maps has posted at least one of them on this site at some point or another, even the formerly elusive Erupt. I wouldn't mind if you said I sucked at Halo without seeing me play. It's actually kinda true- I'm horribly inconsistent when it comes to the game. It's true that the absence of proof is not the proof of absence, but I only called him out because he's just saying the maps suck without backing it up with reasons and valid criticism as SecretSchnitzel did. I can respect his opinion because he gave real feedback based on the footage we've seen and has a solid track record when it comes to map-making. Sure, for all I know Transhuman Plus is an excellent competitive Forger, but seeing as how he has has no maps posted (other than a mini-game) only further takes away from his credibility on the subject.
That is nigh on retarded logic. You do not, and I repeat, do not have to have shown off the fact that you've created something to be able to criticize it. I can know by looking at a map that it's going to suck. Just because you know what makes something bad doesn't mean you have to create something in the first place. awww man, i wanted to see people continue to call out Lynx for being the complete jackass he is.... promethean vision or whatever the **** they call it is bad. bad bad bad. there's a reason every single MLG player video had them using it. Infinity Slayer looks just as bad as i imagined, but regular slayer looks great overall i must say.
I have to say that I was a little surprised I didn't see more people trying out the Thruster. Evade is powerful in Reach MLG, and Thruster honestly seems much closer to Evade than to Jetpack (though I can see why people focus on comparison with the latter). I definitely think I'm gonna give Promethean Vision a good go, but I can see myself using Thruster as my go-to AA at this stage. A movement advantage in battle is huge.
I saw this in one of the videos, it just went unused. Unfortunately. I would like to see this railgun. Too bad it wasnt in E3. If it's anything like today's railguns we've got a new amazing power weapon!
Thruster is cool. Jetpack was never cool. There is no comparison. No but seriously, I hope thruster is good and balanced. It looks like AAs this time around might be better than Reach. Damn always sprint though.
The movement and jump height look spot-on though. I can see a much more fun and balanced MLG gametype going.
Yeah I agree, which is why I personally draw that comparison and see little point in comparing it to JP. I just meant that since Thruster is technically like the JP I can see why people talk about them alongside one another, but in functional terms it's a pointless comparison.
That invincibility for a couple seconds when you first grab overshield is ****ing stupid. That better get patched out right away. It's like you're picking up a very short invincibility powerup before you pick up overshield. It just doesn't make any sense and I can see that being very annoying in competitive games.
It's entirely like evade, or even more similar to teleport from Shadowrun (without the obstacle bypass), which is a pretty awesome thing for sure. As long as jetpack stays away I'm happs. Also on another note: in a QnA last night on Gaf, one of the 343 dudes said Carbine and Storm will be getting a nerfy nerf.
