Prometheus was downright awesome. Maybe my current favorite sci-fi film.

 

And Chip's life is one giant sci-fi film, so that's saying something.

 

I heard that it was ****, but that's coming from a friend that I don't really talk to that much anymore.

Prometheus was most certainly not ****. I don't know if it could win best picture, but the acting and special affects were top notch. The story wasn't perfect but it was interesting and enough to keep me engaged.

 

ahah yeah right. unless it makes a boatload asston of money, a science fiction horror superhero and/or comedy will not win best picture. it probably wont even be nominated.

even if it was a genre the academy likes, i still dont see prometheus getting anywhere close.

but hey, there's always the mtv movie awards

 

Prometheus is only awesome if you go into the theatre knowing that it is part of the aliens series. Otherwise, it makes no sense.
