Well that all depends on your play style if you like the survival aspect ^ that sounds fun If you'll like the creative aspect build something massive.

It works fine. You enter 404 as the seed, and you spawn right next to that gravel. I've tried the 404 challenge, and it is really damn fun. Too bad creepers absolutely **** on me before I can get anything set up. :/
Cant you just use the 404 seed? BTW, im doing what you're with some friends. We're building a Village, an RPG village where anyone can join, build their house and adventure. Players can get jobs, earn gold, and trade with other players. I made a currency system where gold ingots is the currency and are used to buy items from other players or from the shops. I also made a bank system where players can deposit and withdraw their gold. Only me and another person are allowed to operate the bank, but players can find jobs in other businesses. I've also created a job wall in the town square area of the village. Here, players can post jobs for other players to fulfill to earn gold. Jobs such as gathering coal, picking flowers, mining iron, and anything else can be found on the job wall. After my friend completes the greenhouses and I finished the rules for the Village, it'll be open to the public and anyone can join and start their adventure!
Wow you read my mind lol I have had the same currency and bank system lol I'll join and help you build Anyways quick server update The first member has just finished his house and the main area of the village has paths and areas for others to build their own houses. The street lamps are finished and we now have nearly a chest full of wood logs.(no shortage of wood here anymore lol. The train station track from spawn village to the spawn point is nearly complete. I got a lot of planning done today while building such as where the main city will be. This is where the majority of structure will be on the server.this will most likely be where everyone will be spending most of their time. I found a HUGE plain to the north while scrambling around at dark running from creepers zombies and skeletons and though this is perfect for a huge city. Anyways I gave a forum site I set up but I won't post it hear because it don't want to get in trouble.
The 404 challenge works just fine on the Xbox version. Otherwise I would not have said I was working on it.
Due to lack of permissions, what stops someone just walking in, taking all your ingots, stealing everyone's ****, destroying everything and walking away? I'm not saying this is a bad idea, I'd love to get on this server once I get Live again, I'm just saying, there really should be a better way to secure our things in online play.
Your houses and your items will definitely be protected. I only play with mature players. If i know someone that cannot be trusted or is a potential griever, they wouldn't be allowed to play. I also didnt go into much detail about the Bank. I've made an underground system, or an underground vault that houses everyone's money. The only person who knows how to get to the underground vault is me. So there's the extra precaution...
I'd love to get into some of these servers you guys are talking about. I want to play minecraft, but I just don't exactly know what to do. I think what you guys have going could encourage me to play more

If you guys would like to join my village when Waterfall isn't online, you can just send me a friend request as well and I'll invite you! So far I have 4 citizens in my village. I thought the land I dug up would be large enough to house at least 10 citizens. I need to make more land to accommodate, but for now, everything is gravy. I completed the greenhouse today, so i need a farmer to work there. I still need workers for the General store & Inn, El Porko Loco (The local food shop lol), and the Forgery/Warehouse. So far Im the only one to operate the bank until I find someone mature, responsible, and trustworthy enough to work it... P.S. Come join Shihuruville!
Lol el porko loco Anyways quick server update: A lot has happened since the last update the train station is almost complete and the village is coming great! I have 5 inhabitants and houses. The place is coming along great! The plot system has pretty much gone out the window but that's ok because I am liking the way we are building now anyway...people more creative than me have more ideas of where they can build so they build their house on a spot without a plot and it looks good.after we all finish our houses I have a nice big public project for everybody to work on that will be announced on the announcement board soon. Not much else is notable other than the fact that it's growing (thats what she said)lol Thank you to all who have built and to all who going or planning on joining. And shiriru(I can never spell it right lol sorry...) I am still planning on joining your server but either your not on when I am or you are playing something else.(it will all work out eventually)
I was playing all day today with some friends. You could have join then lol! I might be playing again later tonight when the rest of my friends get back from work...
Hmm that's weird I saw you were playing minecraft but no join option came on the screen.perhaps you were full at the time.or on invite only? Either way I'm still very satisfied with the outcome of today.
