I had a good long think about it, and I was thinking that Otonashi from Angel Beats. He's kind and caring and willing to do anything to help his friends. I feel that I act the same around my friends. I always try and work things out and make sure people are alright.
Finished Mirai Nikki. Despite how unusual and crazy it was, I actually enjoyed it. I know it doesn't mean much at this point, but I do recommend it. As for the character resemblence thing, I'll have to think about that some more. Tough question is tough.
NEWSTIME! Btooom anime adaptation Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo From up on Poppy Hill Sword Art Online anime commercial Mardock Scramble part three That's enough to make up for the fact I haven't been able to link any news for a while, I hope. Well, anyways... hopefully I will be able to catch back up on actually watching anime once my laptop gets here (Memphis) and I get internet set up, right now I have to deal with shoddy hotel internet connection to post this (512kbps). If someone (in this thread) lives in Memphis they should totally tell me some of what there is to do here. Now, I have my own question to ask you guys, one that Sky hasn't asked yet (I don't think at least) If you could live in one anime's world, which anime would it be? My answer would be either; Gundam 00 or Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. Both of them because even if I wasn't one of the influential figures in the story, I would get to take part in what makes that world cool like Alchemy (or auto-mail) and being in space with Gundams.
Like I said, very unusual and very crazy. Angel Beats because being incapable of dying and taking part in their operations would be fun for some time. Not to mention, the afterlife ,as it is portrayed in the anime, seems like a chill place.
Well. Don't make me choose dammit! Either To Love-Ru, Rosario + Vampire or Strike Witches. You know why.
I'll take auto-mail and alchemy badassery over really-really-really cute girls, sadly. And you're lying if you say you wouldn't want to pilot a Gundam or go to space.
To Love-Ru has Lala's inventions, Strike Witches has the Striker unit and magic. Rosario + Vampire has awesome monsters and stuff. I think I'm sorted.
I need to find a 'Top psychological anime' list. I'm beginning to like the genre for some reason. Probably because it's usually accompanied by thriller. EDIT: Found one. Spoiler 1. Paranoia Agent 2. Mind Game 3. Paprika 4. Planetes 5. Kino's Journey 6. Monster 7. Gambling Apacalypse Kaiji 8. Welcome to the N.H.K 9. The Tatami Galaxy 10. Serial Experiments; Lain 11. Mushi-Shi I've seen six of the eleven. I remember somebody recommending Paranoia Agent, so I'll have to take a gander at that. Serial Experiments sounds weird. Like it's one of those ****ed up kind of shows.
Ah, I forgot about NGE. I'm actually surprised it wasn't on the list. The movies need to get here sooner! Speaking of movies, I just watched Read or Die for the second time last night. I absolutely love its old style animation. I'm think of ordering all of Hayoa Miyazaki's works, but I imagine they will cost a lot of money that I don't have.
That was me i think, Paranoia Agent is a very good psychological thriller. Made by the same person as Paprika, somewhat similar. Youd probably love Kaiba if you like psychological animes. Very psychological, quite thrilling. One of my favorite animes. The Tatami Galaxy is made by the same person, which my friend says is like Kaiba but quite a bit better. I dont know if id say NHK was a thriller, its alot more depressing in a psychological way. Kino's Journey (Kino no Tabi: The Beautiful World) is a bit more of adventure, but still good. Same with Mushi-Shi. Monster i have yet to watch, but a friend of mine said its also very good, theres just a lot of episodes. EDIT: Seriousley though, check out Kaiba, it seems right up your alley.
That Yuki Yuki video makes me want to watch Mirai Nikki now. Another question: Favourite AMV. For those who don't otaku hard enough: AMV = Anime Music Video. A video containing clips from one or more anime series set to a piece of music. Any music.
Thanks Orange. I watched some of Paranoia Agent the other night and it looks like a solid anime, so I will be finishing that first. Kaiba's next on the list depending on how the first few episodes go. I find Yuno calling Yukki's name sort of cute, aside from when she has that insane look in her eyes which is 90% of the time. You should watch it Sky. EDIT: The second one actually takes you through the anime, so there are spoilers. It's too bad because the that one is by far the best AMV I've seen. Spoiler The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - Whoa - YouTube Toradora! AMV - A Thousand Miles - YouTube
Kaiba was pretty confusing, took time to really appreciate. Also, finished Bakemonogatari, was a pretty good anime, the ending was okay, i understood it and such but i didnt really like the way it ended. Spoiler So does Nisemonogatari follow on Oshinos story or on Araragi story?
