thing is it could be used to push forward. Adds a bit of stratagy to it beyond rush forward rush forward rush forward. Just like with the custom power up before only instead of being outright invulnerable you can actually use team work to try and get more of your team forward instead of just you.
Like I said "I don't see it". But I didn't say anything definite. It's obviously a shield, and therefore used for defense. I don't see it working great, but somebody could totally prove me wrong on a conquest map or two. On the other hand, there is an AA that replaces evade with a huge quick boost forward. Who knows if that would work or not.
Something to consider for the future then. Can always give them each a try and see how it goes. of course that would require the scoring system to be 1 point per territory instead of points over time for territories held. Also Territories would have to be in the game in the first place.
what made evade so powerful was the ability to roll in any direction no matter which way you were facing. at least with the boost it's one direction only. really sounds like it would be most effective when you sneak behind somebody then boost to assassination. you'd still have to be clever about it. i'm not too concerned. EDIT: im also picturing most people being idiots and boosting right into certain death lol
Lol, I wasn't worried about the AA working badly in the regular game, I just thought it might have some interesting use in conquest, or fail completely. Who knows. You'd have to test it. In MM I see it being a perfect alternative to Evade. Yes, yes I did.
Everything I've seen for it just show it to be a more controllable evade. Like it thrust you in whatever direction as long as you held the button instead of a preset distance.
"DESIGNATION: M805X Forward Acceleration System/Fulcrum Mitigating" and it was heavily implied in the official description, my mistake if it is multiple directions, and potentially 343's. rofl.
Well I might be wrong then.. I don't feel like trying to find that footage so I guess time will tell.

It would appear 343 is doing a much better job than I had previously predicted. No death threats today...
343 had a great strategy. They let out all the information that they felt was controversial early. We had time to digest all that information and then we get E3. And we're all saying "oh this isn't so bad". But I'm almost certain that if they gave us all the controversial info at E3, we wouldn't be singing the same tune. That being said, I'm totally pumped for this game.
