    *Makes a ton of assumptions
*Then says not to make assumptions

    Makes sense.

So have they released a full on first person match or have they just been doing the usual "oh look cool clips n stuff" kind of stuff?

you've got a goldfish memory if you're complaining about anything other than framerate issues. it's like halo 3 forge is george w bush.

Sandbox items allowed for a little more interesting shapes because they "meshed" better. Lights worked in Halo 3. It was in Halo 3.

    That's about it :p

You'd think since the UNSC Infinity serves as the multiplayer "hub" where soldiers practice virtually, that there'd be a good amount of virtual forging as well. So I'd imagine a more surreal/fake version of forge (for lack of a better word) where you can perform more unrealistic feats just because it's virtual (though yes, 3 and reach were pretty "unrealistic" as is, but think outside the box?)

It's all speculation, and I know people hate that "hay guis, i haev halo 4 idaes1!" guy, but eh, thought it a decent guesstimation.

From what ive seen it's just been clips, which isn't really enough to "see things in action". Things just look pretty. The discomfort about class gameplay and armor abilities hasnt been truly confronted and to me it's still a question mark.

Made my choice and pre-ordered the limited edition.

As a Bonus though I get ALL of the armor skin pre-order bonuses. One thing I like about this country. All other stores wont ship here including Amazon, ok here have their pre-order bonuses anyway lol.

@people hating on my last post (on phone, don't feel like quoting):

My main beef with forge in reach were the palette, frame rate, and Forgeworld itself; possibly the most important aspects of forge were a let down IMO. Sure the coordinate system, object colouring, and higher budget was nice, but in the end those features are not nearly as important as the ones that could've used much improvement. To say "everything else was trash" was definitely an over-generalization on my part, yes, but in the end I honestly enjoyed Halo 3's forge way better just for those reasons. The quality of maps that were produced in Foundry and Sandbox way out-number what has been created in reach. If we had low poly-count objects, and a simple level to muck around with I'm sure we wouldn't have seen the problems we have seen.

Noxi, the overall better quality of Halo 3 forge maps is a direct result of it being much harder to make them. On average there are plenty of quality maps within Reach, in fact so many that they begin to get bland but that doesn't diminish the quality of those maps, just the excitement players feel while playing on them.

That is a testament of how much better Reach's forge is. If the main issue is that there are too many maps that work just fine and look "just fine" that that's a fair improvement from just a few hundred quality maps in halo 3 with the rest being garbage.

The "areas that need improvement" are just that, not game breaking aspects. Those areas will undoubtedly be improved for Halo 4 forge so now worries.

What assumptions did I make? Everything I said was based on the information released so far. All I did was think of ways that the new system might be able to encourage specialization. I speculated, not assumed.

An assumption is something you make based on previous knowledge, something you assumed. You basically said "RED RED RED RED. By the way, everyone stop saying Red."

As I said, everything I mentioned is based on information released. I then speculated on how the new system could allow for specialization in the way you play a class. I never said, "this is how the game will play," which is how most of the nay-sayers like Shanon have been addressing the game in the months leading up to E3 after hear the slightest bit of information.

Regardless, I ASSUME this game is going to be fantastic.

^Some extended gameplay footage from War Games, Spartan Ops, and a new promo video for the UNSC Infnity. The MM one shows an ordinance drop, and the sound effect for it is badass. It's interesting to note that the options for the drop are semi-power weapons and that it drops right next to the guy calling it in.

His choices are the Scattershot, Needler, and what appears to be some sort of power-up. People who have played the game hands-on say these can be things like OS, Speed bursts, etc. Nice to hear they are bringing these back to MM. You cannot save up for better drops like CoD at the moment and, at least for E3, these choices remained consistent the whole match. Also, the Scattershot appears to be a 2sk, even at nearly point-blank range. Not particularily stoked off of its sound effect, though (the AR sounds the most beastly to me so far).

^Some gameplay impressions from Nexy. He says he felt that the nades were more powerful...god help us all if this is true.
