I think you'll be able to see it. Pretty sure it's just in the same universe, not really tied into the plot too much.

I've seen the first Alien... but nothing outside that and AvP. I didn't know Prometheus was an Alien prequel or w/e

    it's a stand alone story.

but you should really see Alien. just because Alien rules.

heard that people's only complaints about prometheus were "it was too epic" and "not enough like alien" ... lol

i'm expecting a completely different thing, people hyping it as merely alien prequel are ruining it for the impressionable. RIGHT SARGE?

Yeah, I've been meaning to watch it. Now I have even more reason to.

But it's confirmed that Prometheus is an Alien prequel? Last I heard that was just a rumor.

I know they're not movies, but went and bought Game of Thrones on bluray this afternoon and have watched nearly all of them again. They are so epic, they deserve to be posted about in a movie thread because they have more epicness than most movies.

    Epic.

I'm actually nearly finished the series, so :p to both of you. I just like watching the show, because I don't have to think about it while I'm watching it.

I did too about a week ago, bought it at Wal-mart for 5 bucks.

Today I watched Cast Away with Tom Hanks. One of my favorite movies of all time.

Much love and respect for you Sir.

And I don't know if anyone here has watched District 9 as well?
That movie is sooo awesome. Can't be a real suprise that Peter "Midas" Jackson was involved in the project, as a producer this time.
