I heard that you, BT, and Ford got on the server and looked at it. You like? Oh, Its finished now. Wiring and Everything. As for aesthetics, I think its finished aswell.
The new snapshot is out! They made it so that you get XP orbs from mining some ores, cooking in a furnace, etc. They also added a Jungle Temple structure, made it so that if a cauldron is out in the rain, it slowly starts to fill with water and Zombie Pigmen now spawn near nether portals. Adventure Mode is now also available by using the command "/gamemode 2" I ****ing love Jeb!
So I got bored today and made a loadout dispenser. With a press of a button it gives me full armor and all tools. Pretty simple, but useful.
I'm only on my phone, so I won't search this thread to know if you already discussed this: Is Minecraft on the 360 worth it? The only reason for me to get it, is the local slitscreen, but I heard that there is a lot of stuff missing and that the worlds are pretty small. What do you guys think of it?
The worlds are limited to 1000x1000, but it's really fun to play with a couple of friends for long periods of time.
^ I personally think it's worth it. While, yes, it is missing a lot from the PC version, I liked the state of the version they brought over. And updates should be coming. The world size really is only a problem in the nether IMO, the rest is plenty large for the amount of players on a world. Also, I'm sure you have an HDTV, but if you don't, split screen won't work. So we got 3 or 4 games of Pro bending yesterday, and its pretty fun IF everyone knows what their doing and obeys the rules, since there are a ton of honor rules, like stopping when people cross a line, and moving forward when one team moves back. Seems as if people would stay in the zone they were in until reminded to move forward, if they had "Earth Bending." But overall it was fun. We are planning on having a tournament on Friday or Saturday (The 8th or 9th.) So if you want to join, just plan on visiting the site. I will have a bracket set up, rules, ect sometime next week, probably around Wednesday. Also, we will be testing all week around 7 o'clock CDT.
I hope you all enjoyed last night’s pro-bending match.. because it will be the last. It’s time for this server to stop worshiping bending athletes as if they were heroes. I’m calling on the Miningbros to shut down the bending arena and cancel the finals, or else there will be severe consequences.
Pro-bending is easy enough to understand. Each team has seven players: Three Chasers, two Beaters, one Keeper, and a Seeker. Actually, just... ask Chuck. Yeah.
