I'm looking for a way to kill/lose Jun in the level Nightfall since he doesn't seem to know about the concept of stealth. I need to get rid of him before the part where you're defending the Powerhous level from miltiplayer. It's happened to me before (the one time I played through the campaign on legendary, or is that supposed to happen? Might wanna check that out), but I can't seem to figure it out. Is this possible? How do I do it? It's for a machinima I'm currently making.
Push him off a cliff. I have read several cases of Jun vanishing only to find that it was because a hunter hit him off a cliff. I'm assuming you can do the same with some precise melees and movements. He doesn't die, so he won't respawn or anything. He just stays at the bottom of the cliff. That's all I could think of.
I find it hard to push him off the cliffs since he constantly moves away from the edge. Thanks for responding.
Maybe try boxing him into a room? I don't remember because I usually run past this part in the campaign, but I think there are lots of boxes in the area where you're trying to save the civilians.
There is a forklift in the beginning of the level. I have tested this and then front of the forklift boxes him in because he doesn't jump, thus making it possible to push him to the ledge. It really works.
You can slowly walk him off the edge, if you do it literally where you spawn. It just takes a little patience. However, this is pointless because he cannot die. He ends up just chilling at the bottom of the map until you hit a checkpoint, at which point he will "relocate" to your position and proceed to butt**** any semblance of stealth. In short, no it is not possible to stealthily avoid that battle because Jun is a ****ing dumbass. You should just get really good at the speedrun technique.
Just a suggestion, but on Nightfall I'm pretty sure you can run through the entire map. Though I don't know if you want to or not, the idea with the forklift works one of my friends did it before. If he gets to annoying, leave him behind to get glassed with the rest of the planet.
