Hi there. I'm back with more Anime drawings. I know you keep telling me not to but I like drawing them. This one is Riko and Ako from KissXsis. Image was orignally done in pencil and scanned in, but due to my scanner not being able to pick up the pencil lines very well I did some editing in Photoshop to make them stand out a bit more. No Sharpies involved this time. I also removed their hands compared to the stock image as the size of the drawing meant that they probably wouldn't have fitted in properly and looked a bit odd. This is great, but the issue I have is with the end of Ako's hair. It protrudes out further in the drawing than in the render. I like this one more than your sharpie ones as well.
Agreed. Although it's accentuated by the removal of her hand, if it were there the difference would only be marginal.
Thanks for the nice feedback. I bought a set of new drawing-specific pencils and some nicer paper to draw on so I can get some better drawings done. Do you guys think removing the hands was a good idea?
Umm, idk about anyone else, but I feel like they are looking at each other and not into the "camera"..Overall, that's a very good drawing..I'm jelly. Keep it up, man.
While I don't really like anime, to each their own in terms of what they like to draw. Just please please please get some better pens. All those lines are so sketchy and inconsistant. Edit: Just read the whole post, I see they're not crappy pens but just pencil being scanned. Regardless, get good pens.
I suppose I could have either spent some more time cleaning it up but then I'm a Photoshop noob so I've no idea how to fix any of it.
He means to use the pen tool and light feathering in Photoshop to clean it up a little bit. (feathering is what you have done to the bottom of your signature)
