What kind of Leaks?

@Cheeze, just some 1st person screens. Not terribly cool or revealing.

 

Pistol looks kinda... odd. Like a more sci-fi version of the H3 magnum. (with reused reach asset )

Might be old, not sure.

 

So another leak happened last night! Its an 11 minute video of warhouse. Too bad it is the worst quality I have ever seen, and obnoxious music is playing throughout. Things I noticed:

-Railgun looks cool.
-Shows the new rocket launcher.
-You have a ton of sprint time.
-Magnum has a scope.
-Assassinations are cooler.

or just existing in general.

 

So have we had a confirmation from a real source that says that these skins aren't only for the certain armors they're show on? Like, if I unlock the forest armor skin, can I put it on any set of armor I want, or only on the one it's shown on? It would seem silly to only have it on the one, but they've done stranger things with this game.

Also, yeah, I would suggest that people just read cluckin's list of whats in the video, instead of trying to watch it. They filmed it with a iPotato and got somebody with Downs to rap over the gameplay.

On second thought, It's so bad I'm pretty sure it's an intentional leak/joke from 343i. It's recorded on a vhs tape for christ sake.

 

Don't forget the xray vision and fall damage.

 

From a technical standpoint, it would probably work out better to see the skin as a texture, and overlay the texture onto the player. That way an entire new 3 dimensional model is not needed for each individual skin.

That is, given the assumption that the skins will be avaliable on all armours.

 

I dont know if they're making the spartans fall damage-proof or not. IDK if it was something that only odst's and inferior spartans (spartans III's) couldnt prevent. Not sure, cus I think there was fall damage in CE. But fall damage limits what players can do in halo and takes the fun out of it sometimes.

 

Apparently jackal shield is now an AA.

 

Good, people have been wanting that since Halo 2. Especially if it's keeping Armor Lock and Drop Shield out of the game. Though admittedly Drop Shield wasn't that bad in BTB games.

 

What do you mean? That players can use a jackals shield? I didn't see that in the video.

 

It is the thing in the leaked screenshots. The person that made the video confirmed it on his twitter. It's called the 'hardlight shield'

 

I miss the equipment that you could pick up in halo 3. It's more like a power weapon. I like that system more IMO.

Also the weapon pickup icon is now at bottom mid of the screen.

 

Riot Shield. What's next? Prize Sistem? Abnormal Conditioning? Dropper Zone? (MW3 references BTW)

 

I'm imagining Jackal Shield Sprint Pummels. I wonder if they'll still slowdown if it hits the shield (assuming this is in final build). If not, weapons have become outdated in the future. Elbows are where it's at.

But assassinations did look sick. Gauss rifle too.

 

Hopefully it's something like hitting/holding the AA button raises the shield but enemy fire can break the shield and it has a recharge. Some **** like that. If the shield is an AA, you won't be able to sprint with it.

 

That seems like a reasonable idea. Let's hope they're doing that.

 

I was under the impression most of those were already in lol. You get unlocks as you level and some sort of "killstreaks" for weapon drops, which essentially are "care packages". Lol.

Edit: was prize system supposed to be trophy system? That doesn't really work for the name switch lol
