Railgun does indeed sound awesome. As I expected- a mini laser style weapon. I also imaging that the lack of a scope means long range use will be difficult on infantry, making it's accuracy meaningless aside from vehicle use or perhaps stationary opponents. The one hit kill seems fine, as it will take skill to hit- just like our Reach grenade launcher. Love the new page of armors too. really happy about the way these are looking. As for the visors, eh. I dont really mind what has happened to them. The glass was a structural weakness so if there is an excuse to not have them I could easily imaging none existing.
So, these Armor Skins/Armor Pieces are all pre-order bonuses. Personally, I think this sucks. I don't want to miss out on a bunch of things I could have had, simply because I can only pre-order from one store, regardless of how trivial it is. Maybe they're doing something like what they did with the Recon helmet in Halo:Reach? Pre-ordering meant that you could use it from recruit, however you could also unlock it as you progress through the ranks.
First positive sounding thing in a while. Exactly what I expected and I expected something good. Althought 50/50 on the no scope. I see positives to it having no scope but I know there'll be times where I'll be like "arrgh, wish I had a scope". That is, if they don't nerf it. Hopefully they don't take a page from Blizz.

Guess this means I'm ordering through Microsoft. Gungnir ftw. And RST, don't you remember? Halo Reach did the exact same thing. Once you got to a high enough level, you can buy any of the pre-order armor from the armory. It's not exclusive for long.
