Just played some BTB with bs angel and someone asked her if SO will be at E3 and she said that there is a strong possiblity!

Y U SO KEWL? There's some new armour skins floating around from various different sites when you pre-order H4. Surprised no one posted them here (or they may have and I may be uber late to the party) Thanks to BT, Noirtatsu, Elite Warrior 5 and whoever else who contributed The snow BR camo thing looks quite cool... I don't know what the hell is up with all the helmets though. They look terrible :| The CIO armour skin looks nice besides the helmet though... BUT, does this mean we can no longer colour our spartans? Or are these skins just applications of white texture over the top of our base colour? (I'm guessing we'll only get the one single colour option now...?) Are these skins visible in matchmaking is the bigger question...
I also heard somebody from 343 say the armour color you picked isn't in some competitive playlists. So this makes me think that chosen armour color may be in some team playlists or they may be making a copetitive FFA playlist.
I've gotta give them props for thinking outside the box with the Halo 4 helmets, just kinda wish we can see some old helmets in the armory too. Add actual player models with the skins on them to that list. Kinda looks like we'll finally be able to customize our legs as well. Oh how I've waited for that.
Those skins all look great I think (not a fan of the red and white one, but I imagine new colors would make that interesting). The armor looks fine to me, (though the helmet on the forest set looks weird) I dont really see what's bad about it- only that it's different. As for the weapon skin- that is exactly something I was hoping for- not a ridiculous skin, but something that could make some sense while being a fun customizable option.
Those armor designs look like they're straight out of power rangers or transformers.... not a huge fan at all (though deadeye doesn't look terrible). Plus the eye/nose design is practically the splinter cell night vision goggles upsidedown.. gah
It's more interesting than having everyone's colour and alt colour in the exact same spots on the skin. If two people in a game choose the same two colours, at least now they'll be distinguishable. You take this skin home, add some blue, a little red, baby you got a Spider-Man going.
It just doesn't look Haloy to me. Too cartoony. To me, it just reinforces the fact that nobody starts a game equal.
Lol, nice! Also, I just noticed I don't mind CIO in blue... Also, also, if you filled the face space with a visor instead of those 3 dots, you'd have a pretty sick looking helmet... Similar to pilot in Reach, but more to it. Yeah, my paint skills are pro. Just remove the vision of seeing a 2D visor, and add shading and make it 3D around the faceplate and that's what I'm seeing... or a better idea of what I was getting at...
Spartans look awful. this is the first thing that has really let me down so far. Also, I'm tired of weapon skins. They are obnoxious looking. If I see anyone with a pink gun, I'm gonna chuck my controller at them.
What I've noticed is we may not be able to choose individual pieces of armour, but instead choose presets like CIO. Hopefully I am wrong. Also nice painting skills Stevo. lol
