This bugs me too. I wish I had known about the limited world size before I established my world.

I mean, the obvious solution is to explore a new world for a little bit and if you don't find a place you like start a new world with a different seed.
    Annoying? Yes.
    Plausible? Sure.

Jeb just posted a picture of his experiments on Villagers. Also, take a glance at what you can see in the background...

I hope that will be a feature. They need to spawn in forests, jungle, and taiga.

This may be the picture quality but does the gravel in the village look different to you?

The two player way nets you way more items, faster.

Well, like I said, You'll need 2 players, at least 1 diamond (or 1 of any other item), a dispenser (or possibly any other breakable item container, needs testing), and a chest (for storing your ass loads of cloned items.

First you will need to place a dispenser (or possibly a chest, needs testing) on the floor. One player stands at one side of the dispenser and the other player on the other side. One player adds his desired item in the dispenser. Once that is done, leave the dispenser inventory window open. The other player now begins mining the dispenser. Once you see the dispenser break, immediately pull out the item from the dispenser. What you should see is that that 1 item turned into a stack of 64!

Now there are 2 ways of storing the unlimited item you just made. The first way is by opening a chest and holding the X button. This will deposit the items by 1. After you deposit your last item, you should see the number of items reset back to 64. Cool huh? But this method is time consuming, considering if you want to fill the entire chest.

The second method is to take the stack of 64 unlimited items you just made and throw it on the ground next to an empty chest. After that, you should notice that a 64 stack of the item has been placed in your inventory, but the original stack is still on the ground. So now you can move the stack from your inventory into to the chest and a new stack will be placed back into your inventory. Neat, right?

The problem with these unlimited glitches is that it could get a little messy and you might end up getting more items than you wanted, because the unlimited stack can be very confusing to handle. So many weird things happened to me while using the cloned item. Such as trying to throw away the unlimited item when i didnt want them anymore, but ended up getting more. But I have done some experienting with the cloned items and I now know how to minipulate them without them getting out of hand.

Lol, i said the glitch can be tricky and messy. The more you play around with the items, the more you'll discover and understand.

So, have you built a house made out of diamond, iron, or obsidian yet? Thats my next goal with the glitch before it is patched...

It's under decorations. I think it's the very first selection in that tab. You have to scroll down to diamond blocks. It takes about 9 of an item to make a block...

or just three. And the glitch I posted about might be more time consuming but it does not get messy and does not require any kind of timing.

So you can hardly ever blame GoO for being slow and reluctant to update.

Maybe it isn't gravel. A new decorative block for the pathways idk.

Guys. I just downloaded the new snapshot and i found a castle-type sort of thing in a desert biome. I kid you not!

EDIT: It had nothing in it yet. :(

Also, it was a change to the gravel texture. They introduced it in the recent snapshot.

EDIT AGAIN: It actually contains a secret room just under the central design with treasure.

    Minecraft Building Project on Survival

I was thinking of doing a building project on Survival Mode, and I was looking for a server to do it on. Anyone interested? I wanted to lay out some ground rules.

    1. I must be promoted to moderator or higher upon starting the project. (To kick/ban mongs)
    2. I must be the main director of the project. (Mods/Admins/Ops (and whoever I choose/whoever the staff chooses) would be the secondary directors. (AKA: Whatever I say (in relations to the project or anything related) goes, and whatever the staff says (in relation to project or relative) usually goes.
    3. No one is allowed to go on creative for any reason, or spawn in items using spawners, mods, or using the "/item" method.
    4. In relations to the project, I can overrule the staff on decisions related to the project, and the staff may not boot/kick/ban me from the server unless I break one of the official rules of the server, not because I overruled them about making something on the project.
    5. A server slot limit must be at or above 20. 50 or more is recommended.
    6. I must be able to broadcast the event to my youtube channel, mackjr1234 - YouTube. (Who wouldn't want their server televised?)

Please post on this thread if interested in joining in or if you want to host this building project. Thanks for reading and hopefully we can make this a success!

Weeks have passed since Minecraft Xbox 360 edition has released and it has surpassed CoD Black Ops in unique user activity least. CoD MW3 still holds the number 1 spot.

Has we all knew and hoped for, updates will be coming to the 360 version of Minecraft. Starting with 1.7.3, Pistons! and hopefully soon after 1.8.0, Adventure update!

I've already spent hours just building a decent looking house and mining, and i havent even went dungeon hunting yet, but I want more! These updates has to come now! lol

Heres the Kotaku article: Minecraft on Xbox 360 Will Edge Closer to Its PC Counterpart With

Well i could host the server if you wanted. It would have to be Hamachi though and i have a school schedule to stick to so i can only have it up for a limited time.

Sorry to spit on your birthday cake but not many larger server admins would be willing to change their server (which they pay for and dedicate time to) for one individual with a "great building project." How would they know you wouldn't grief their server? Gotta start a bit smaller if you ask me. However, maybe there's someone nice enough to let you do all that (though a bit doubtful), props to them if the project ends up well.
