I found an umlimited diamond glitch. It requires only 2 players, 1 diamond, a dispenser, and a chest (optional). I think this glitch might work for other materials as well.
I think you need to open up minecraft and allow it to use more RAM regardless of system, if I'm not mistaken (and I probably am).
My computer only has 2 gig of RAM and it runs more or less ok. Not as good as everyone else but with optifine I don't have any frame rate issues or chunk loading problems.
Just a picture of me finally digging out the space i need for my redstone wiring 1 system down 15 to go its goint to be a fully resetable arena/survival/adventure zone. its about 98x98x50
Is that the thing you've been working on near Venomia on the Server? If you're on a 32-Bit Operating System it's a good idea to do that. If you're on a 64-Bit Operating System, and running 64-Bit Java, there's no need to as it's already given access to all the memory possible. I used to have Minecraft crashing on me every 5 mins or so when I was on a 32-Bit OS, but I recently reinstalled Windows as 64-Bit and now minecraft is running smoothly.
I will neither confirm or deny the existence of this area on any servers... but i may/may not need testers for this down the line
I'm on a mac. Chuck can attest, I was complaining about there being absolutely no boost in performance after I got new/more RAM (and he can also attest that my computer started up about 10x faster because we inadvertently tested it during a call). I actually ended up quitting minecraft for nearly a year due to this (since I upgraded my RAM specifically for it) and other circumstances. Then a few months ago I found a thread on the minecraft forums on how to allocate more RAM since you only get 256 or 512 MB standard (forgot which). I edited a particular file and BAM, instant boost of 20-80 FPS depending on the situation (single or SMP, etc). Also, 64-bit OS, dual core comp.
I had to make a .bat file because there wasn't enough RAM allocated, so I allocated 4GB (I think) and noticed performance increase, along with no crashes. Code: javaw -Xmx6144m -Xms3072m -jar "C:\Users\USERNAME\Desktop\Minecraft.exe Save that as a .bat file in the same folder or whatever.
So if I run Minecraft from a USB stick (It runs better for some reason), I change the file path to wherever I keep the Minecraft.exe file?
Jesus what game are you playing? You couldn't possibly need 6G of ram to run minecraft. Unless you have a mod to increase view distance or mobs spawning. Especially after they fixed that unlimited fps bug on title screen.
I know it was overkill. I did it in like 30 seconds... It's not that big of a deal... I have a lot of RAM. lol. [br][/br]Edited by merge: Yeah, also, you may want to modify the amount of RAM you want to use. There are 1024 bytes in a GB. One of the numbers should be half of the other, like I have above. I forgot the reasoning tbh. Then, you'll have to click on the .bat file from now on, not the Minecraft.exe.
Spoiler Join my Minecraft Server v4 - Creative and Survival! - YouTube Shameless Plug for the server I designed! Check it out guys! Its a tour of the server with all the stuff i built. In the interest of not advertising you will have to find the IP yourself.... Spoiler *cough cough* video or my CT
There's a save editor out there, I know that for sure. I haven't given it a try though, my USB is broken and my transfer cable isn't the most reliable thing in the world. Anywayface, I'm loving it, although the only problem I'm having is the world size. If you get some shitty generation on a random seed, it isn't very easy to just go look for somewhere else. Maybe the world size will be increased at some point. I'd hope.
looks really good but then again when you use shaders everything looks good. yeah id join but i dont want to have 2 mega projects i already have barely enough time to make my adventure zone.
they are probably gonna start seling skins as DLC... you know skins the thing u can make for free on PC. they should atleast sell a skin editor for xbox and not skin packs. what a piece of **** MS is if they do this.
Diamond Glitch with just one player. Find three diamonds, place them in a line in your inventory then craft a diamond block. Decraft the block for 9 diamonds. adding 6 to your original three. Works for gold and iron as well.
