Just because it's common doesn't mean it's intuitive, and besides, it's just a personal preference. I'm not asking for everyone's controls to change. In minecraft, you press E to open and close your inventory, that's how I would like it on Xbox, except Y instead of E. I though of another tiny complaint, I wish I could turn off the little HUD icons that tell me what button to press. I know what buttons to press and I want the item bar to be lower. Is there a way to turn them off? You should buy it because you haven't ever played it.
you have more of a reason to buy it than people who own the pc version. although i would probably just buy it on pc instead if i were you, i dont really see the point of an xbox version
My friends and I are all going to end up getting it in time for summer, as then we don't need a server to play on because it's all integrated. Fortunately for us, all that you can really do at this point is SMP, which is exactly what we plan on doing.
Also, won't the server host need to be on when the others want to go on? I guess good server hosts will have to have a spare xbox and leave it running, so anyone can join. And i do think they are planning updates really soon until it gets caught up with the PC version.
This thread really should be combined with the other minecraft thread, it seems kind of silly to have them apart. Just my opinion.
Thats what I thought. I reported it when it first started, but it still hasn't been moved so i guess the mods don't think so.
Just downloaded the trial for it. It literally hurts my eyes to play it. I immediately turned down the gamma to about 20%, but looking onto the horizon or at any water is still painful. Also, does it have the mid-game difficulty switching? On the trial map you can't change it, but that's a huge feature of Minecraft's Single Player. Hopefully they'll have the Xbox Version caught up with the PC Version before the end of the summer. Maybe I'll buy it then. Also, it'd be really awesome if you could link your Gamertag to your Mojang Account so you could have your custom skin on the Xbox Version if you already own it on the PC. In other news, the creator of the surprisingly successful Minecraft clone, FortressCraft, is a butthurt little kid. xD
Hmm 1600 microsoft points how much would I have to spend at the local 7/11 in America for this? [br][/br]Edited by merge: I just played the trial...oh my god this is going to get even better?!?!i found myself exiting the game then going back in to skip the trial and play more several times.i have about 10 U.S dollars to spend the other 15 I need but I hope that 10 can get 1600 Microsoft points. Somehow I doubt it.
Already found a pretty beastly cave. I forget how much combat has improved in later versions. It's a bit more balanced out. Like Cheeze said, Skeletons are ASSHOLES in this version.
Especially the ones that don't die for some reason. How can i slash a skeleton with a stone sword 50 times and it doesn't die, is it a glitch?
That's happened to me twice now, the mob was partially exposed and my hits didn't register all of the way. You can still inflict damage upon the item you are using though, just doesn't hurt the mob -___-
I tried to kill a pig for shots and giggles and it would NOT die I just left it alone.later I came back to my house and a pig was in there and I just killed it simple as that...glitch?

How can you not know what you're doing? There is a tutorial. If you don't know what you're doing on Xbox, don't get it for your PC--you'll be a lot more confused.
