Started watching it last night. And I could not get past the first few episodes. Spoiler No one in that series actually uses their head other than lalush or whatever his name is. No wonder he just rapes people more often than not, and then they give him the power to control people.......
its kinda hard to get through the first few episodes because of how slow paced they are but it gets better as you go
I looked at a summary, but it didn't seem that interesting. I'll still be watching the first episode tonight though. EDIT: After watching it, I can see why it's not the most popular anime, but it managed to peak my interest. Spoiler Is each episode dealing with a different person who wants to send somebody to hell? Hopefully, there is more of a story to it than that. I'm about to watch the second episode now.
Hell girl has about as much of a story as Cowboy bebop. At first glance all the episodes are pretty unrelated, but you start to see ties later on. It's a tad slow, but it's not bad. Also, I finished watching Stein's Gate for the second time, I ****ing love how even when I watch it multiple times it keeps me interested. Plus I love how I can notice how they actually put little hints into what's going on, if you know where to look or have seen it already. ****ING AMAZING anime. Watch it, then watch it again. Never have I smiled, laughed, and cried so much for an anime. **** everything else, if I could only watch one anime for the rest of my life it'd be Stein's Gate. Edit: Also, lelouch is supposed to be an egotistical, manipulative asshole... they pretty much modeled him after Light Yagami from Death Note. All they did was give him a different power, but essentially the same power hungry asshole. Although... Light actually had someone competent as an adversary for most of his run, the same can't be said about lelouch; whose best competition only came in the second season.
While those are good points, I personally think the Light was significantly more egotistical and self-absorbed than Lelouch was. And putting it bluntly, Code Geass's storyline was a lot more confusing than Death Note's. In Code Geass, the approach to plot points were roundabout while Death Note was straightforward.
What's everyones favourite Anime OP/AMV? I can't decide between: • Angel Beats - "My soul, your beats" • Sora no Otoshimono - "Falling Down" • Soul Eater - "Resonance" I'm also a big fan of the Vocaloid music. Anyone else with me? Also, I could watch Strike Witches/R+V/Any other half-decent ecchi series all day, every day for the rest of my life and not get bored. I'm easy to please.
I've heard about all that Vocaloid business, but never cared to listen to it. Angel Beats' OP is my favorite of the three, but my all time favorite is probably Toradora's. I love it.
I love Vocalolid and Utau music. Sango312 is amazing with them. I myself am attempting to make my own Utauloid. I already posted a song, but I didn't know about rendering flags at the time and it sounds quite horrible, plus my voice control wasn't good then and I started reworking an entirely new voice bank. This is it. Yes I picked a soft song, probably not a wise choice, but I had just watched Hell Girl at the time. [UTAU NEWCOMER]
I'd recommend Vocaloid to anyone who likes anime. It's usually very good stuff and there's loads of decent tracks out there. Have a youtube playlist with some of my favourite Vocaloid/Anime tracks on it (and a bit of caramell): Anime Music - YouTube
I would link my playlist of all the songs from Touhou games, but can't do it off my phone. They are Japanese bullet hell games for those who don't know, with an anime theme. As for an OP from an actual anime, I liked the ones for: Xam'd: lost memories Stein's Gate Kamisama no memochou Gantz Baccanno HotD And some others, but those are the ones I remember the most. All of the .hack anime have good music during the episodes, rather than as an OP.
Karas: The Revelation - New Korn Hold On - YouTube Tool & Ghost in The Shell Innocence: Parabol Parabola - YouTube
Here are some other good OP songs: Staple Stable - YouTube Ano Hana opening full ( ano hi mita hana no namae o bokutachi wa mada shiranai ) [second version] - YouTube durarara- opening theme - YouTube This isn't an OP song, but it's a great one from a movie we all know and love. Cowboy Bebop OST 4 - Pushing the sky - YouTube
All anime OSTs are awesome, probably gotta go with Paranoia agents OP though as my favorite Paranoia Agent Opening - YouTube Runner up is Welcome to the NHK ED2, really went well with the show Also, has anyone here watch The Tatami Galaxy? have a friend pushing me to watch it but havent yet
Holy crap, I remember watching this before, but it was so long ago I wasn't sure if I did at first, I think I must of watched it on adult swim or something.
I disagree: http://youtube.com/watch?v=eTmRdtKZ1BU OR: Strike Witches 2 - Electric Bug - YouTube MUSHI!
