If you are talking about the Half-Life 2 Airboat level, please go participate in the running of the bulls.
Is sounding terribly underwhelming... I was so freaking close to getting hyped for it. Just a few days ago I was feeling pretty good about it. The news about "stopping power"-esque effects against sprinters heightened my hopes. Sadly, it came crashing down... Hard... 5sk BR w/spread and recoil 5sk DMR w/bloom and slower ROT 6sk Pistol w/bloom WTF!!!!!!!!!!
Have you ever actually played that level? You have to get out and solve puzzles/kill combine multiple times. Anywho, yeah, looks like I'm joining the rather large group of people saying "Looks like I'll only be playing customs in Halo 4".
This for me too. Hell, if it gets worse I may just rent for the story and then pretend the multiplayer never existed. Oh, and if you can make a class like the one they were testing with a BR, PP and plasma grenades... Every game is like Elite Slayer (without elites) in Halo 4!
It's a cross between crysis multiplayer (look where that is) and cod multiplayer (look what people are starting to think of that now) Note how I don't say it's also a cross with halo multiplayer. Campaigns cool though. And if we are doing nothing but sticking to customs, we need proper custom games like in Halo 3. Reach customs just wasn't great. The style of map you could create didn't have a sense of atmosphere. It was too squary and unuoriginal if you ask me.
I don't want to go in to spoilers here but what I gathered from them isn't quite what you stated it was. Still, I could see the Precursors as an enemy.
Halo wiki has some info that may or may not be true but it says that unlocking a frag will cost 30 cR. They have also said that the forunner vision emits a loud noise as a drawback to the increased vision. Which may be why they said pros most likely wouldn't use it.
...didn't see that. We referring to the same wiki? Halo Nation - The Halo Franchise, Bungie, 343 Industries and more
I've always felt that more bloom/faster reset on the DMR would have made it better in Reach. This way there is still skill in pacing shots, but someone who doesn't pace their shots wouldn't be able to hit jack **** while the pacer tears them apart (full-sized bloom after 2-3 successive, non-paced shots). We also don't know if the bloom is simply there to signify the RoF like the sniper rifle in Reach (someone else mentioned this comparison earlier) instead of being an actual shot-pacing mechanic. We simply don't know enough yet. Receed.
Ok, you do it twice, but that's it. And it's not repetitive either. Personally I have never been ably to enjoy matchmaking in any Halo game very much so I guess the changes won't affect me. I prefer Halopedia, the Halo encyclopedia - Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 4, ODST, Reach and more.
Have we gotten any more information on the armor pieces and how they'll change gameplay? Like, what bonuses we could expect, etc. I think that's probably the worst thing that's been announced, and the most skipped over.
I actually was wrong about the 30 cR. That is the fictional production cost. M9 High-Explosive Dual-Purpose grenade - Halo Nation
F*ck you 343i, you told us you would do better than Bungie, you got our trust with Anniversary and Defiant and now you **** us over. I want Bungie back, they would've seen the fail that Reach was.
