I wish I knew how to mod, there are so many little things I wish I could tweak... Mostly involving the inventory.

Of course. That levelers tower looks sick on the inside as well. SMIM is amazing, though. I just wish there were many creature mods that made new meshes instead of just being retextures and stuff.

i'd like to hear some more ideas of mods that you guys would like to see. I've been thinking about doing some simple things but i'm not too sure what to start with. I'd love to put an ampitheatre on a mountain somewhere that the bards college use as the ultimate tavern, filled with musicians, ale and dancing. CARNIVALE!

Snow Elf DLC was sooooo obvious.
If you didn't pay attention to anything in the Thieves Guild storyline or just background stuff in general, snow elves = pre-nordic invasion falmer. mer=elf

I just can't wait for bethesda to fulfill a promise I saw them make a while back that at some point they would take some of the more popular, successful, useful mods and make them official for console users.

Matty, you should make a dungeon filled with skeletons that wield frying pans, make frying pans equippable (same stats as a steel mace, upgradeable with steel perk), and have there be some sort of mini-delving quest where the reward is an enchanted frying pan that is an allusion to Tangled.

They're sort of doing that with the kinect integration. They're making the inventory system a lot better by allowing you to sort and pick things out of it by voice.

Also I don't know if snow elves were the "obvious" choice, I mean there were plenty of lines there but I would have thought the dwemer would have been a more obvious place to go (I mean they are barely making use of Black Reach, that whole area just begged of DLC content) or the Altemer elves invading because you pissed them off by siding with the Storm Cloaks (I'm sure they could make up some reason for them to invade if you sided with the Imperialists).

Well the dwemer were core to Daggerfall and very present in Morrowind so they would want to wait a little bit before diving straight into it.
The falmer are a whole new race to the series that are a still existing form, although demented of elf unlike the ayeleids who are straight up gone. This leaves room for making a questline where the ultimate reward is a less hostile falmer...

As I said, the capacity for it was there, I nor most people following the game would have thought it the obvious choice given the main themes of the game. But, just because most fans might not have predicted it doesn't mean it won't be good. I'm sure whatever is planned will be substantial.

I figured they'd visit the dwemer again before the touching on the falmer.

Morrowind they visited nords then went to the mainlad
Oblivion they went to the Ayeleids then went bat-**** insane (which was AMAZING)
Both times the second large release was much bigger than the one before it

In Skyrim the obvious choices are Dwemer, Falmer, and Daedra. Dwemer and Falmer for clear reasons, Daedra because it is hardly touched on at the moment, mostly because after Oblivion everybody is sick of them.
Dwemer vs Falmer, Falmer is a smaller release and Dwemer will be intense.

I hope that the biggest expansion for Skyrim will deal with the Thalmor. I want to kill more of them and see sleeper agents working for the Thalmor in the cities and villages, sort of like the sleepers from Morrowind and Oblivion. Forget Alduin, the Thalmor and the Aldmeri Dominion are the main bad guys in Tamriel during this game's era. Perhaps though, the next game will deal with the Thalmor and their demise.

I highly doubt much thalmor expansion, all of the 5 main storylines are dealing with some sort of sudden crisis, not the fallout of a large scale war.
Arena you assemble a staff that will release the emporer from his prison
    Daggerfall you assemble anumidium
Morrowind you sweep the Sixth House rebellion once and for all
Oblivion you stop the Oblivion crisis before it destroys the world
Skyrim you put a stop to Alduin the World-Eater

The only DLC that dealt with post-main quest issues was Tribunal for Morrowind which is simply focused on how one of the Tribunal has lost her ability to hold back an evil guy now that she isn't immortal.

And you do see sleeper agents in one of the Skyrim quests...
There might be a dlc that adds maybe a fort or something, but after the White Gold Concordant, any DLC involving fighting Thalmor would theoretically spark a new war altering the storyline of Tamriel entirely. If there was a thalmor DLC, it would require the Dark Brotherhood, College of Winterhold and the Main Quest to be finished because
the DB assassinates the Emporer, leaving the empire weak and College of Winterhold deals with Ancano.
I also don't see Bethesda taking the time to program an entire war when the Stormcloack rebellion was actually quite small in numbers compared to what a "war" might consist of.

I will cede that there is speculation about DLC involving nearby provinces or even all of Tamriel due to the basic topography existing already, but to be honest I don't see the plausibility in that seeing as it would require new guild lines, new radiant quests, new side quests, new NPCs, new creatures, new textures; basically a new game.

I think you're looking at it the wrong way. Using the past games to determine what would be chosen for DLC provides useful insight but shouldn't be a definitive thing. Bethesda has said numerous times that when they do release DLC for Skyrim it will be gigantic, almost expansion like. So, a full blown invasion would fall within that wheel house description. Like Sam I too thought many threads were made regarding the Thalmor that didn't see enough conclusion with the main Skyrim game. They were there but always sort of at the sides but still important enough to the goings on of the game to warrant a follow up.

I just feel like any war related questlines would need to involve battles of around 50 NPCs on each side, I'm not sure 99% of the machines out there can handle that much script. I am not saying Thalmor DLC is impossible, I'm saying its implausible unless it is downscaled to the size of the stormcloak rebellion.

So.. Kinect integration.. I don't see what all the hate is about, if I can shout at my TV and I perform the shout, I'm happy. Unless I say "Equip Fireball", and I Fus Ro Dah some guards.
