Well, they were experimenting with space flight in campaign... there might be boats in campaign? They should introduce motors in Forge... plus gadgets to do pretty much whatever you'd like. Yus. There should also be a "sleeping" capability for objects.
They have a reputation of making up stuff to get nice headlines. The site is banned on NeoGAF for that reason, they're just unreliable.
Because neoGAF is the definitive proof of other sites' reliabilty? I'd have to see some directly refutable evidense of "fudged numbers". It just doesn't seem like a believable enough reason to make up statistics. I mean nice headlines for who? It's like the people who have some weird problem with Metacritic. It's an aggregate review site with no opinion of its own so it has no agenda.
I was really referring to the boat controls themselves. But that level was unnecessarily long. It's only retribution was the mildly entertaining helicopter battle at the end.
Exactly what I was saying Org. It was a good level at heart, just way too long and repetitive. Drive, kill some enemies, go into a small building to open a gate, repeat. At least the saber mission in reach involved defending somewhere, then moving onto infiltrate somewhere else, and each task you did was seperate from each other.

Soooooo... The BR is now a 5-shot weapon with spread and recoil. The DMR has a slower rate of fire cap and bloom. The pistol is a 6-shot kill with bloom. We've got sprint default and AAs. **** me sideways Sally! Halo is dead.
My thinking exactly.... Of all the ways they could have "balanced" these three weapons... They just choose not to.
Seriously? Long Night of Solace? For the majority of the map you're flying in space in a Saber. I haven't, but I was under the impression that the precursors were God like beings that could manipulate time and space and accelerate the evolution of organic life. If so, they would be one hell of an enemy to fight.
They're still working on weapon balancing. I wouldn't be surprised if something like that will change before release.
Weren't that godlike, the Forerunner fought them to extinction. Also yes I read the books but I was pulling what I said mostly from the Halo Wikia.
Which is ironic, because wikipedia won't accept vgchartz sale numbers as citations because vgchartz is so unreliable.
wikipedia is a very reliable source for things that are not obscure. also he said the halo wiki, not wikipedia.
Are you kidding me? Flying from one spot to another "defending" and then walking into a place and shooting people does not mean something isn't repetitive. For half the level you are just shooting waypoint markers and then for the second half of the level you are walking through purple corridors. In HL2, you only have to fight enemies outside your boat once. The rest of the mission is driving about splattering combine, dodging bombs, solving physics puzzles, killing combine by driving underneath and breaking wooden platforms so that they fall to their death plus some fun jumps and nascar turns and ****. It is an amazing level.
