I just saw Titanic in 3D, that movie is ****ing great. The 3D was useless of course, but it was worth seeing it in theaters. Also there was a group of cunts sitting in front of me.
Went to go see The Cabin in The Woods expecting a generic slasher film, but I was definitely wrong. It was surprisingly original and it had some funny parts too.
i cant wait to see cabin in the woods. written by joss whedon, it has to be good. plus ive heard nothing but good things about it.
I'm looking forward to Cabin in the Woods, but it isn't out here until April 27th. I did see Wrath of the Titans on the weekend however, wasn't bad, but wasn't great. I "got" a "free" pair of decent 3D glasses out of it, though.
The Cabin in the Woods was one of the best movies ive seen in a while, easily the best so far this year. the third act was just so good and so awesome, i would highly recommend this one.
Just saw Avengers tonight. T'was the ****ing bomb. I would gladly pay to see it again, and I probably will. If you haven't seen it and consider yourself a fan of the superhero-type movie or just a massive nerd in general, do yourself a favour and go see it, as soon as possible. Joss Whedon has done a fantastic job of creating a believable team cohesion and making the story flow really well. Top props to him and the actors.
I'm a noob to batman lore and I was just wondering what Bane will be like in the movie. Will he just be a normal dude or will he have super strength like in the video games?
I'm guessing he'll be a "normal" dude, as the Nolan Batman films are based more on reality, but that's not saying he won't be extremely strong or an expert martial artist. He is one of Batmans greatest adversaries, after all and it would upset people if he were a pushover.
Just watched Inglourious Basterds last night. It was interesting. There was a lot less action in it than I thought there would be, but still very interesting.
Clash of the titans was alright, but I think they used most of the profits they gained from it to put into wrath of the titans, which I have to say, it was a badass movie in every way. Idc what others think, it had a good plot and some interesting twists. id pay a dozen times to see it. I saw it a while back and I'd recommend watching it.
I was on my way to see this in 3D XD (first movie I would have seen in XD) on Friday when my mother-in-law called saying her electricity went out and we had to pick up the baby. So ****ing pissed. Now I'm going to see it this Friday for sure. Oh and a little fun fact. The Avengers set a new record with 207.4 million in the first weekend! (article says 200.3 but it was later re-counted). http://mobile.bloomberg.com/news/20...as-record-setting-200-3-million-in-sales.html
Best film I've seen this year. Actually the only film I've seen this year, I don't get out much :/ I didn't really like how Hawkeye was used more for plot progression than a badass, but he pulled the story along at the beginning, so I think it was necessary.
I've never been a comic/superhero kind of guy but the Avengers was actually really great. I saw it last night and actually really wanted to go see it again tonight. It was that good that I'd be willing to pay $10 twice to see it. Also, if you do go see it in theaters, stay after the credits... both of them.
If I have never seen an Alien movie, will I still be able to enjoy Prometheus? I don't know if it's confirmed that Prometheus is an alien prequel or not, I just don't want to feel left out when I see it.
