I just played through to the ninth test chamber with a guy, but he was too tired to keep playing, so I didn't finish it. We were running around trying to figure it out, and it was only after he left that I realised what we had to do. The puzzles are pretty challenging, but you'll slap yourself in the head when you work them out, because they're usually glaring right at you. Can't wait for the next lot.
Very true, this happened to me and my friend when we played, we'd struggle through each chamber and as soon as we solved it we were amazed at how simple everything is to solve. Except for the one where we missed the drop room for a fling, that was just us not paying attention. To be honest it's really true for the harder puzzles in either game.

People have been doing this for a long time now. But my steam won't allow me to use the textures from portal. :/ So I was unable to.
Well of course I know that, I tried it for awhile. But now this is in the hands of console players as well. I'm just curios what console/pc players will come up with.
Only if there's an extensive sharing program provided. Even then I doubt Portal 2 is popular enough to grant it a sub-forum.

I wondered why Portal 2 didn't include something like that from the beginning, it seemed like it would be such an obvious and cool addition. That being said, I don't think there's any kind of multiplayer aspect to be found in Portal 2 (aside from two player co-op, and there's no guaranteeing that will be included in this), so I highly doubt it would earn its own subforum. Everyone thought Farcry 2 would take off, and look what happened to that.
...the ones from last year and I doubt javidson's statement was suggesting there should be a portal subforum. I think that was more so just excitement and the fact that for like a month...it pretty much was portalhub in here. Everyone had portal 2 sigs and was talking about/playing portal 2.
Doesn't matter, we're obviously continuing this thread, so replying to previous posts in it makes sense. Especially when the information that was just recently posted lends credence to what the previous posts were discussing. Anywho, though I'm right, I am not going to continue this bantering back and forth past this post, mostly because I'm tired of seeing recent threads flooded with idiots arguing back and forth about nothing important. So if you really feel the need to quote me and start an argument about something so trivial, by all means go ahead, though you wont be met with any sort of recognition. So, yeah, portal stuff. This might convince me to finally buy Portal 2 for PC, I had it on the play station.
