Yay guys I'm messing around with my Xbox today, when I noticed that It gets usually "Reading, Open, close" Disc Tray problems. And it gets dificult to run the game from the disc since I spend 2-4 minutes to successfully enter in game. So, before that, I tried to turn off the console and change the disc out, and put Halo Anniversary... By the way, It works. But it seems that when I restart the console it can run the CD initially faster, but If I still in the dash board for a few minutes, It gets dificult for the Xbox read it by the way. So, I came to the conclusion that the game disc can be widely used, because I'm with the Halo Reach Disc inside the Xbox for a long time, maybe 4 months. Or the reading sensor can be damaged or dusty. (I tried to blow the disk also) So, my final word is, maybe I could Install the Halo Reach In my Hard Drive (217 GB left) and not use the disc anymore. Therefore, you guys, usually use Reach with the Disc inside, or did you Install it in your Hard Drive? And if yes, why did you Install it? Did the online matchmaking system slows? Just curious... I wonder what the best option in my case.
If he's getting an open tray error, it's because the rails are probably screwed and the lens isn't detecting the disc, therefore it isn't spinning. It doesn't matter if you install it, the disc spins once you put it in, even if it's installed, to detect the game. Installing the game drastically increases load times, that's about it.
