I'm assuming this is the Beta version of Windows 8. I still don't like the way they've moved the desktop to a secondary function, I prefer all my stuff to be right in front of me as soon as I'm logged on.

I said ICON clutter. Icons are perhaps the ugliest things ever. Tiles (I'm a big fan of the metro style) are beautiful. Same size, clean lines.
It's terrible for desktops, and it takes up more room than several icons would have. Until more options for customizing it are available, it should remain on tablets and phones.
Oh dear god, how do you find anything in that cluster**** of icons? I'm not much of an icon person and try to avoid adding new ones, but when I do, I organize them by importance, and how often I generally use the application. I see no sort of organization in that and if I had to look at that, I would go blind I think. lol... To each their own, I guess.
