Hi there GnA people. I don't come here often but I do like some of the stuff I see here and have shared some of my own in the past.

Here is my third anime drawing, this time it's Lala from To Love-Ru. I chose to draw her as she is a very emotive character and is always very positive and bouncy (in more ways than one). She is quickly becoming one of my favourite anime characters and that's the main reason I drew her.

Only head and shoulders again, but my next one will hopefully be a full body. I changed the mouth expression as I found that the one in the stock image did not suit her, so I made her look happy. Yes, I ****ed up the eye colouring too.

Here is the original image I used as a stock:

Judging by her hair, I'll wager she has lopsided nipples.

I'll also wager that you've seen them.

He probably drew them on his free time.

I can't figure out what to say about this drawing, except that parts of her hair cut off where her eyebrows meet. Other than that make sure you get the eye colors right next time. Nice job!

    Who doesn't?

If you check the stock image, you'll see the same effect. I don't know why I didn't just complete the hair strand like I did in other areas where there weren't defined endings.

I'll do cartoon drawings as well sometimes, and what I like to do is at some parts of the drawing I'll thicken or thin out the line to add depth. Like if I was to draw a chin, I would make the bottom a little thicker than the sides.

It looks good though, I'm guessing you used sharpie? A good choice :)

if you insist on doing this can you please at least color them?

and no, sharpie is not a good choice.
sharpies bleed. that's why your lines are all lumpy.

i wont bother repeating myself about the other advice i've already given you about copying anime drawings.

I'd colour them in if I had all the colours to colour them in with. As it is I'd need like 50 colours which I dont have. I dont really have much choice when it comes to it really but I do want to get a proper set of colours one day. Until then its sharpies as my scanner sucks at picking up pencil.

well, it's only around 15 colors.
You should look into getting a better set anyway
if you are interested in getting better at this, you'll want to have nice tools

^ This man advised that I get prismacolor ink pens. Best advice I've ever gotten in terms of pen and ink art. They're a bit pricey, but worth every penny.
