Anime news: Sentai Filmworks has licensed Kids on the Slope, it will stream on both The Anime Network and Hulu about a month after it streams on Crunchyroll. It's not really relevant, but I have played with a real pair of breasts. Although, I'm also not one of the people who ogles big breasted anime characters. I'm that guy who likes the smaller boobed characters. I like segmenting my posts now.
That looks pretty good, im gonna start watching it And on a side note, i just finished Kino no Tabi: The Beautiful World, which i liked a lot, reminded me somewhat of Mushi-shi, i dont feel that i understood the ending though.
Bakemonogatari is DEFINITELY worth watching, you just have to understand its primarily dialogue driven, so don't go into it expecting a ton of action.
Orange, do it. It focuses on dialogue for the most part though, like Aschur said. After that, give Angel Beats a shot if you haven't already. I want to see a trailer of Kids on the Slope, but I can't find one D: It's a bit disappointing that the director won't be bringing back his old, unique style, but I have high hopes for it nonetheless. About the harem thing, it's true for the most part, but there are some anime, like Shuffle!, that break away from that cliche. That's the only anime I can think of that does though, unfortunatly. lol.
For some reason I cannot think of, I decided to start watching Blade of the Immortal. It's actually not that bad, I can tell you right now though, there are some VA's in the dub that I can't stand. As for the new anime that I had the chance to watch the first episodes of: New season of Kore wa Zombie desu ka? is good, just like the previous ones, so nothing to complain about there. Dusk Maiden of Amnesia looks better than some of these new series' popping up this season, since I haven't talked about it yet I'll give a little description of it for you. As a school that has had numerous expansions, parts of it have been left abandoned and maze like, fueling superstitions of ghosts and the likes. The main character happens to find a ghost who has amnesia, he starts an occult club with her as the president but he is apparently the only one who can see or touch her. They start the club as a means to find out more about her and why she is dead. I'm looking forward to this season of anime actually, most of the shows are new, but the new season of Fate/Zero and Lupin the Third have most of my attention for now. As for Kids on the Slope departing from his normal style, I don't think that it's going to be a huge step away from it. He likes to integrate music into his stuff, as is evident in both Champloo and Bebop, now he is integrating that music into the storyline. Can't say anything about how it's gonna tell the story though since nothing is out in terms of trailers or episodes yet.
I dont like violence/action, i watch anime for stories and dialogue. Yeah ive been planing on watching Angel Beats too, i have a bunch of stuff i need to watch.
Gonna have to say it, most stories that do have decent stories and dialogue are those with the violence/action you don't like. Bakemonogatari just happens to be one of those gems that doesn't. Watched first episode of Nyarko-san: Another Crawling Chaos, it's surprisingly humorous. It takes itself very lightly and even makes fun of itself. Looks like it'll be a good one.
‘Akira’ superfan builds iconic bike for charity | Unplugged - Yahoo! Games Akira fans will probably want to see this.
So he finally finished it. Nice. I remember finding parts of his plans ages ago on the blog he had running during the build.
Most anime, if not all that ive been into doesnt have violence in it, and all the action isnt physical
I'd drive it. lol. They're running out of list ideas because we've already seen this one, but with a slightly different title. Top 25 most heartrendering anime character deaths: Possible spoilers. If I had seen that list before I got caught up with one piece, I would've stabbed you through the interwebz. And for #18......... No. Just no. Pro tip: don't look at the spoilers.....
I think the "possible spoilers" tag makes people want to look at them more, haha, but that's the best I can do. Krilin's deaths were just another thing in that show to me. So much that I don't even feel the need to spoiler it.
Technically Krillin only died three times. Once when fighting King Piccollo and again when fighting Freeza and then again against Boo. His next death isn't until GT which I think we can all discount because GT was **** compared to the rest. Out of that series I'd have to say Vegeta's sacrifice when fighting Boo had to be the best death simply because it showed how much he had progressed as a character. But then as Bows said, once you get into your third or fourth death it starts to lose it's meaning so putting it up against other series it doesn't really stand up.
Why aren't there more Angel Beats Characters? I found Otenashi's to be the most powerful of the whole thing and the ending made it even worse.
You just reminded me of GT's horrid ending. I wanted smack the creator after it was all said and done. Goku's goal made sense, but it was still a bad way of ending the series. The only saga I really enjoyed was the buu saga. I agree, Vegeta's death was probably the most significant. I'd also say Goku's death when he attempted to stop Cell's explosion was pretty significant. I also agree with Otanoshi's death being significant. The way he went out was very respectable.
Who knew the poor bastard couldn't swim. Gods Eater Burst: Anime Trailer - YouTube Holy ****. I love the animation.
In my opinion both #9 and #17 need to be bumped up into the top 5. And every instance of Puella Magi Madoka Magica needs to be removed from these lists. Every single one.
