I kind of agree with that. I don't consider myself either a super competitive player nor a casual. I basically only play Arena now. Its not as competitive as MLG but it also lacks the garbage that Team Slayer has. I prefer competitive gametypes and strongly dislike basically everything in Action Sack. I don't care if H4 has all that gimmicky crap, I'd just prefer it wasn't in 90% of the game. Some of that is mildly comforting [br][/br]Edited by merge: DMR in pic 4? Looks sexy
well the game is looking awesome, visually. and im still not worried about how the multiplayer will play until i see some more concrete info, like a gameplay demo.
I think that the Elites in 4 will have a more 'evil' role since they now look more savage and brutal. In 3 they looked a lot more civilised and orderly. They also, to me, look a lot more naked. Like Arbiter naked, but just more uglier.
I liked that they looked more "civilized and orderly" like in halo 3 it made them look well intelligent and much more cool the way they have them now look much more animalistic then the covenant we have known to love/hate
Visually it looks great (what's up with that Grunt???). I'm still not touching the multiplayer until 343i proves it's good. And gives me back the flamethrower.
as good as the new cortana looks, that does not look like cortana. Also in the 6th picture does anone else notide how chief's right shoulder armor isn't attached?
Brutes replaced elites. Imagine a clean cut Liam Neeson and then a few years living in the forest like a hermit.
The concept art had me speechless..but the DMR pic is what I'm really interested in. It looks like there are 3 grenade types and what ever type you have equipped disappears from the list and shows up as a bigger image to the right of the list. Also, is that the new sniper in top right? And new armor ability in bottom left..
The grunts look fine, just different. Imagine if Halo CE didn't have the curly grunts and they suddenly introduced them in Halo 4. People would flip ****. That's the point.
I'm not sure if you've read any of the new books, but I believe their is a reason for the distinction. @Skisma: I think that AA is Forerunner Vision..not sure if the rainbow affect is part of it or just the lighting on the map. Also, the square in the AA and the square in the grenades match, so forerunner nades?
Oh I agree completely there will be a reason no I have not read any of the newer books I haven't been able to get my hands on em On the HUD in the dmr pic I'm not sure what to make of the symbol oboe the scoreboard also the enemy's on radar appear as arrows?
