Its a rough call between Fraternal, Sol, Basis and Terrorium... Wow. Four awesome maps. Gonna have to play the loyalty card though and toss my vote for my MLG brothers and vote for Sol.
Yeah, and rightfully so... Maybe if it wasn't a bland donut map that played like *insert lovely analogy*, I'd actually consider it as being somewhat decent.
Can't blame ya. Imago isn't my cup of tea either, but from the screenshots, I noticed some improvements from the first time I played it. Though I don't know what to say about the other maps though. I just remember running around on Sol and it looked pretty smooth.
Well, I guess as I've actually played Basis that will be my vote. The rest look good too, though I haven't been able to play them this week.
What a fangirl. Didn't I see you promoting his map in the "Worst Map You've Seen," thread? People thought you were his proxy account. Which is what really counts in a map, right? Terrorium is good, but White Lodge is better by a longshot. I'd rather have seen Nutduster get that map into voting. That said, I think Terrorium is going to land in 1st. Have yet to play Fraternal, but it looks badass. I would say 2nd place, except... Sol is also great and has the support of all the former-MLG forgers, so I'm guessing that will steal 2nd away, landing Fraternal in 3rd. It will be a close call, that's for sure. Edit: I forgot about Imago. Redemption may end up topping Terrorium now that I think about. It's a decent map and certainly looks nice, but all the other maps are much more original and deserving IMO.
I would say either Basis, Terrorium or Fraternal because those maps are made by people who I regularly play with and thus rank higher than maps made by people who I don't know very well. Spoiler I can't actually vote but whatever.
