    Also Max, I forgot to ask why there is the decline and incline in Rock Room. Seems unnecessary and looks pretty bad imo.

    I felt like it has more variety than a flat floor. I also like how it covers your entire body if you are looking from camo room to enable safer spawning.

    I'm going to go with the latter, besed on earlier experiences with him. I don't even see why he's even bothering posting in threads for obvious Commons clones like this.

    And yeah, the indentation in rock room is pretty good.

    When we played this map it was very clear you've produced your best map to date. My only criticism remains that the teleporter seems to be a bit to large as I was accidentally backing up into it. It's a small thing that a player would clearly get used to after a few games on the map.

    On an aesthetic note, I love how gray this map is. You really see the interesting geometric look you used stand out with the lack of color.

    Yeah I told him about that too.

    It would look better if the indentation was going upward instead. Plus it would block that insanely long Line of Sight.

    I think I owe you some thoughts on this map. I just couldn't think of anything constructive to say. However, you have outdone yourself this time. A map good enough where you don't even need to post anything for a while. What I'm trying to get at is that this map is great. I've told you my favorite room is the room with the teleporter exit; that's still holds some truth. The fact of the matter is that I've paid more attention to the camo room and grown fond of it. The whole truth is that I appreciate the whole map and how every room interacts with each other. For example, The camo room has a direct LoS to the teleporter exit resulting in an interesting stale mate between both players looking through said LoS. I look forward to your future work. Great job and you already had my DL before the map was even posted.

    Final Update:

    1. Camo moved to top of pillar in Camo Room.
    2. Sniper moved into Rock Room.
    3. 2nd floor of Camo Room raised to enable jump shortcut.
    4. Rock Room redone to house safer spawns, and be a better fighting environment.
    5. Rock Room jump up is now a single jump.

    When I saw the first version you released, there were a few things that had me scratching my head...why isn't rock room bigger?...why is there a small depression in the floor in the Custom room? (I honestly kept staring at that spot on the floor waiting to see what spawned there...but nothing ever did, lol)

    The updated version is so good. You took something that was already great, and made it better.
    A couple of things that I'm really impressed by...
    - Despite using only a handful of objects/textures, the rooms are easily distinguishable.
    - Each room has a purpose, and the rooms really interact together beautifully.

    A couple of things that the nitpicker in me can't help but point out...
    - In the receiver room, looking from the receiver, the brace large on the right side has a tiny bit of z-fighting with the 4x4 corner underneath it.
    - If you look at that same brace large where it meets the 4x4 corner at the base of the exterior wall, there's a gap there (it's tiny, but if you stand in the doorway and look there you can actually see the forgeworld terrain outside).
    - One more thing in that room...going down the ramps, on the second ramp there is a pretty big gap on the left side where the ramp does not meet the brace large (grenades actually fall through the map there).
    These are all minor things, and are simple fixes (if you care).


    So now that I have the nitpicking out of my system, out of all the forged maps I've seen throughout the last 3-4 years, this is my favorite. This really is an awesome map.

    You have a good eye for forge issues, lol. There are a couple other forge errors that piss me off when playing the map. Maybe I should make one last update.

    What is this? Is it meant for 4v4s? It looks completely unbalanced. I don't understand why every one says its so great. Looks like a mess to me. Guss I could give it a try with my friends.

    For future reference, you should play a map before judging it so harshly, because you might have to eat your words now.

    It says in the description that it is meant for 1v1 and 2v2.

    I see you are at the point where you feel that a map needs to be symmetrical in order to be balanced. I went through that phase also, so I forgive you.

    You should replace the pictures you've got up with the new ones. I thought you'd made a post somewhere in here with the updates, but I'm not seeing it for whatever reason. Camo and sniper areas especially have seen a good amount of changes that the current pictures don't reflect.

    -Grenade Launcher location switched
    -Sniper Room reconstructed
    -Added drop down from Custom to Spiker
    -Added Spiker
    -Changed weapon spawn times
    -Made weapons drop spawn
    -Fixed lift
    -Pushed receiver teleporter closer to doorway to prevent camping
    -Cleaned up forging
    -Added SaLoT to friends list

    I really liked the changes you made when we played on it. Before there weren't a whole lot of available paths if you were getting gunned down and it was a little hectic and couldn't support alot of players. But the small but convenient changes you made gives the map greater depth and seems help map flow. I know this sounds like Im speaking out my ass, but I thought it played alot better than the previous version.

    Holy ****, theres way more to the map that I've played. I only commented about one room to you, I didn't see the whole thing, and it looks gorgeous. I'm going to download this and get some 1v1s on it. I love all the jump ups and everything.

    Congratulations on the feature man! Well deserved. Also, where does the new path lead? Obviously somewhere by CPU, but I can't get a good idea of the path from the pics other than the entrance from the bottom of GL. Anyways, great job. Hope to see you on Halo 4, provided you've platinum'd every Trials: Evolution track by then.
