... that's not really proof. Somebody once told me that the sun spins around the earth, that doesn't make it true.
You guys are just ignorant. DMR is back, I heard it from an inside source. I can't speak on on behalf of Overdoziz, but my source is pretty good.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU- Why, 343i, why?
I'm not against multiple precision weapons; as long as they don't overpower each other and are practically equals that only differ by user preference, I don't see a problem with variety. I just don't want to see the weapons sandbox become what armor abilities and loadouts are: random.
Hell to the yes! The DMR is staying! Thank god. One shot precision weapons are so much better than a 3-shot burst. Suck it H3 kiddies.
I consider myself a halo 3 kiddie, but I prefer the dmr.... just sayin Also, how do you think it will work with two human precision weapons? Will they try to separate them or could they go hand and hand like the needle rifle and the dmr do right now Mid-post badass thought: The reason why red and blue Spartans are fighting eachother is the same reason why there are two different precision weapons. Maybe they have been separated so they have different equipment and stuff
I'm hoping both weapons cover different engagement ranges. I'd like the BR to be Close to Midrange (although not OP vs the sandbox in close range) and for the DMR to be Mid to Longrange. Both should have approximately the same average killtime.
I have absolutely no problem with this... I <3 all three of those ( the AR not nearley as much as the DMR or BR) its like 343 said alright you want DMR fine!, you want AR fine, you want BR nope lol jk you can has.
I'm probably missing something about what you're saying here, but how do similar average kill times and different ranges work out? Say we assume a perfect kill (be that 4, 5 shot or whatever) at optimal range (close to mid range as you say) for the BR to take 2 seconds, and the same for a DMR at longer range. How is there a way to make the DMR less effective at the BRs range? Without this, the longer range weapon becomes dominant and the other redundant as the long range one will still be just as effective at short range.
