Just a mere joke, but yeah, Bentlys just arent my forte. Really just the styling for me I guess, along with how overlypriced they are nowadays.

To answer my own question: Scion FR-S

    - Low weight
    - Ultra low center of gravity
    - RWD
    - 200 HP flat four boxer engine (Co-developed by Subaru)
    - Transmission derived from the IS-F
    - Looks like sex on wheels

    All for around 25k

I then spend the rest of that money on the aftermarket parts that will be developed by numerous companies
    - Turbo
    - Upgraded brake kit
    - Lowering kit
    - Intercooler
    - Intake system
    - Upgraded exhaust
    - Lightweight rims with sticky tires

    And I'll be set.

Hey guys, I was hoping one of you could look at this car for me real quick and give me a yes/no, or if you know anything about the car, it'd be greatly appreciated?

    1970 Pontiac LeMans Sport

It MIGHT be my first car, but since my birthday is 6 months away, we don't know for sure.

Also, how did you guys get into cars? Y'all obviously know a lot about them, and I'd really like to learn.

PS: To answer Shanon's question: '72 Charger. ^^

OOH West Coast Customs. They had a TV series a while back on discovery and they've made some sweet cars.

If they'd given it orange lights and a Tron-esque paint job, I'd kill for one.

    Yes.

My Dad's career revolves around the 12 volt industry, basically all the car electronics and stuff. We'd always go to car shows together when I was younger (We're here in SoCal, so there are TONS) but I didn't really appreciate them back then. These past few years, because of my job which requires me to be around cars all the time, I've acquired a lot of knowledge about cars. I read a lot of articles, comparisons, test drives, etc. I wouldn't say I know "a lot" but I know more than the common person, I'd say.

And my question was what NEW car you'd get for under 30k, bro

West Coast Customs do an okay job. They don't really "build" cars, they really just make them pretty.

Five Axis will knock them out of the water, hands down.

Yeah man. Defiantly a good car.

How did I get into cars? My parents are cars so it's kind of genetic really.

That's actually a pretty cool way of getting into it. A lot of people - that I've noticed - that like cars and are into them, were raised into them. Unfortunately for me, we're a gun family... not car one haha.

Ahh, ****. Didn't see the NEW part.
    Well, fine.

    2012 Challenger R/T
But, with mine, I'd like just a small spoiler on the back. :p

They actually moved to discovery's car channel velocity. They still make incredibly sick cars on it too. And the show is so much better than pimp my ride xD

Lol there's a new pimp my ride on Spike (I think) and it's still hard to watch in a funny way, it still has that mad mike guy (guess he didn't follow with wcc, bad idea lol).

I installed some HID's, pics soon. They came out a little more blue than I thought they would be but they still look good :)

I'm still praying that toyota releases the FT 86 II soon.

I'm usualy not a big fan of Asian cars, but if this one gets real, I'm definitely considering to buy one.
The only problem I see, is that you'll have to change most of the engine. So far the only information I have, is that Toyota plans to build it with a 200 HP engine, unless they don't add a massive turbo charger or even a twin charger, the car will be desperately underpwered. But I'm glad to see Toyota making sports cars again.

It is, oh and it's now called the GT-86 under the Toyota badge. Subaru has their version, the BRZ and in the U.S. it is going under Toyota's Scion badge as the FR-S.

The Subaru BRZ has just started selling them TODAY as a matter of fact. I'm not sure when Toyota will start selling the GT-86, but Scion's FR-S will be on Sale in Spring.

200 HP doesn't sound like much, but the power to weight ratio is better than a bunch of other competitor cars, including Honda's SI. But power really wasn't the focus; stability and handling was. Lightweight + Ultra lower center of gravity + a near perfect weight distribution is what makes the car special. The car's center of gravity is lower than Ferrari's 458 Italia!!

And even then, the engine doesn't even have a turbo on it yet, which I'm sure there will be an aftermarket kit within the coming year. Along with intakes/ exhaust, etc.

It really will be the tuner's choice when it comes to the track.

Yeah they are pretty easy. Spent $40 total for a pretty easy upgrade :) I shoulda went for 5k instead of 6k though. I thought 6k would be white with a hint of blue. It's more like a light blue color. Oh well at least it ain't purple lol and it's better than 4k 100 times over

I prefer the 5k myself, but most people that come in and buy HIDs actually prefer the 7k..... I have no clue why.

We do them allllll day for the civics and accords around here.

It's the handling that makes it awesome!

As far as I know, the Subaru Toyota whatever FT GT 86 BRZ or however it is called is different from the FT-86 II, well, that's at least what the guy at the Frankfurt Motor Show told me.
He told me that the FT-86 should be released in 2012, so I think that that's the car you are talking about. The FT-86 II on the other hand is still a concept car. They had one at the Frankfurt Motor Show but unfortunately I didn't know that back then, so we didn't visit the Toyota exhibition hall.
