Has it really come to this? Well I guess it has. Is Project X any good? It looks like people partying, which seems like an odd concept for a movie. Wouldn't you rather go out and actually party?
I guess. I have some friends *stouf* who always keep the glasses every time, but they never doing anything with them. I always assumed they were hoarders or something, but I guess they are just fools.
Apparently it is. Going to see it this weekend probably. And now for something completely irrelevant.
If they're going to charge me $1 for the glasses regardless of whether I already have a pair, then suggest I give them back at the end of the movie, I'm not going to help them out ****ing me over. Edit:
This is the problem with people. Instead of viewing this as paying for the 3D installation and the recycling of the glasses, people think that movie theaters are intentionally screwing them over. Running a theater is expensive, especially 3D! All you are doing is hoarding them like a rat for no reason other than to feel like you stuck it ever so slightly to someone. Now another pair of 3D glass will be made because of it.
I'm pretty sure it was only just in Feb that Chrome passed Firefox, and if current trends hold there will be a new "most used" browser for the first time in over a decade. Because **** IE. Cinemas need to buy new projectors all the time, that doesn't mean ticket prices should increase each time they replace one. And if they didn't actually care solely about the money they'd skip the surcharge for patrons who bring in their old glasses. And besides, I want them, so I'm keeping them.
Dear PPC, I would like to thank you for bringing the show "Community" to my attention, it's probably the best thing you've ever done for anyone.
I took one of the pairs and tried to replace the lenses with the red and blue from an oldschool cardboard pair... Everynow and then I'll wear them to a rave party. Taking pictures with them has a really eerie effect where you can see a faded version of your eyes I also tend to hoard little things like that because I want to use them for something else but soon forget what I wanted to make out of them.
