I'll agree with having more pathways is a good thing, but there is also such a thing as called having too many LOS. the lines of sight make sense spawn wise, you cut some off in some sections while keeping it open in others. I will disagree with there being no strategy, there are a few control points meant to be very contestable to where it comes down to both players skill and team skill. In MLG there is nothing wrong with that sort of gameplay. But gameplay would get predictable, I would create a jump up in bottom center to top center, considering you already have a hole there. That would add another pathway like Xzamplez said. Also I'm not sure if you noticed Xzamplez, but there are 4 ways to top center if you use the jump up at the other openings. Making top center very contestable, so both teamwork and individual skill come into play. Layout is simplistic but I believe the design is meant to be that way, easy for players to adapt to the orientation of the map.

Most top MLG players like it simple, this is what I have been told. Also, it is not a negative thing to have individual skill introduced to MLG. So more thinking is actually placed on knowing where your team is. I believe a cloak at bottom mid would be better that way people have a little more incentive to go to bottom mid, to keep player traffic rotating. Having no power-ups or weapons at top mid would also be better, considering it is a control point. I have noticed having power weapons or power-ups at a control point promotes camping, this is unlikely considering top mid is contested easily. But in this way bottom mid is used more often, creating more strategy.

Well done overall. You are the only other forger I have seen that can make unreal signatures and have beast MLG maps as well. You are by far one of the best forgers I have ever seen, I hope to see you continue making competitive and MLG maps in the future. And btw, Your Aesthetics a F***ing boss. Good luck and continue the awesome work.

I just finished playing a round of TDM and I enjoyed it a lot! The gameplay was extremely smooth and fire-fights were well ballanced. The only thing that I found that I didn't like about the map was some of the color-coating. I understand that you added them to help players orient themselves and give 'call-outs'; however, I found it to be somewhat distracting...when in an intense fight it seemed to pull my eye away from players.

But from a forge standpoint, I love what you did with the floor on the bottom level. Being able to see the wather through the 2x2 blocks was very clever! I'm going to have to 'borrow' that idea from you! ;)

This map is pretty sweet. I like that it has a kind of 'X' shape, rather than the conventional rounded or box-like look of many of the other CTF/Stockpile maps I've seen recently. The windows in the middle with the custom powerup are a nice touch. Stockpile should work well here, and I've seen from the video that it's been pulled off very nicely. Overall, nice work, and good idea. However, it can get a little cramped, and there's not TOO much cover, but it's still very nice. Good job.

Hey SE7EN, great job on this map. It was one of the a great find among great finds on the MLG website and I'm happy to see you left some changes from our feedback. I think xamples has a point and he's clear in defining it. There's nothing wrong with this style map though, it can be for competitive play. Zealot, Warlock and Element are circular arena style maps. The variations in hight and weapon placement add an extra dynamic to those maps. Anyway, this is really clean forging and I'm glad you spent the time on it. Hopefully this could work its way into Matchmaking for the new playlists.

Arena Gaming League is using the map as well. I didn't care for the map at first, but it's grown on me since. And by the way, I'm not sure if you meant to imply this, but Kampy is a pro, not a semi-pro. SV made Top 16 in Columbus.
