I have been doing some heavy duty forging lately, and I am getting ready to release my 3 part infection map pack. However, I am having some difficulty with respawn points. I have placed starting points and respawn points in the appropriate places, but in spite of this during testing players occasionaly spawn in what I can only assume are "default" spawn points around the map. I am using Foundry as a canvas, and the points at which people spawn are inside the 2 light blue rooms and on top of the wire catwalks outside them. I have double checked that there are no more spawn points set on the map, the item summery only shows the ones I have placed. If anyone knows of a method to prevent this, such as options I can change in the custom gametype, I would appreciate any help. (I no can haz perfect spawnz pllllllllz help meh )
You must delete the starting points for every gametype. To change the gametype you need go into monitor mode in forge and press start, you will see the options from there. If you have already done this, it is possible that the spawn system feels that the points you have placed are all too dangerous and it uses the default spawns even though they are deleted. if this is the case you will have to place more spawn points or extend the map and provide safer areas.
which generally blows donkey nuts. Mallet speaks the truth though ... Try placing some Spawn Areas. Namely one Neutral one that covers only the playable area.
