    Alright, started this map on Sunday. finished it on Monday. Tested on Tuesday. Fixed on Wednesday. (Arkham City reference)

    Its a minigame, made with speedpile, where you start out in the hangar with your banshees. i used the unlimited banshees glitch so you always have on when you spawn. You get in the banshee and teleport to the "take-off" hangar. There are 9 flags around the map, with varying degrees of difficulty and points.

    The many flags are laid out across the whole of forgeworld. The goals are above the hangar, one for each team. (thank you to czarinabox for those)

    This was pretty fun the last time I played, though it needed some tweaks here and there. I'm sure you've addressed some of the problems (Banshee's exploding very quickly) and it looks like you've added some new flag areas.

    Everyone should check this mini-game out- we only played with a handful of people and I can only imagine how much more fun it would be with a full lobby.

    Good idea, and solid execution. I'm glad that you took the time to actually make the flag spawns look nice. Sounds like a really great game of risk v reward.

    Very creative use of the expanse of Forge World, as well as the unlimited vehicles glitch. I'm curious though as I'm creating something pretty similar, except on a smaller scale, have you had any problems setting up your speedpile gametype?

    yeah, i added a few more flags so i think it would definitely be better with a lot of people. hope i can test it with a lot some time soon.

    and yes, the banshees actually have life now. :) put the damage at 125 and shields at 1.5, cause i want you to die from the banshees blowing up, not getting shot out of it. i need to see how the 125 will work though, it might be a little much.

    thanks! i was going for a real rvr sort of set-up. and since my budget wasnt really going to be spent anywhere, i spent it all on the flags. not sure how, but i am actually down to 1500 on budget.

    thanks! i just kind of saw how the hangar pretty much overlooked forgeworld, and thought how perfect it would fit as a launch point for some air vehicles to go out into the rest of forgeworld. and it there wasnt really any problem with speedpille, although you have to hit the flag pretty dead-on, which isnt much of hinderance if you have decent flying skills, unlike me.

    so basically its speedpile but with banshees and all of forgeworld is the map? i give you props for creativity but i cant shake the feeling that it's going to end up really boring with you flying all the way to the other side of the map, picking up a flag and flying all the way back to score it over and over again and being really boring. can banshees kill each other in the game?

    Sounds like an interesting idea! I like the concept of it being based around the use of the Banshee. My only thought is that combat in the air could become a bit stale, have you thought about adding large obstacles of some sort to mix up the encounters?

    Also, a Heavy Man Cannon to backflip off of when capturing a flag could be fun! I thought of this because scoring looks like it would slow down your movement, though I wouldn't know if this is an issue or not...

    If you need people to test changes I would love to help you.

    And cereally, where did your budget go???

    well, this was kinda long times agoes, but i fell like i should answer the things posted.

    basically. honestly, i cant really say anything yet cause i havent tested it with a full 16 people, even though this was a month ago....

    ahem, yes banshees can kill each other. its kind of like a banshee/ airborne battle, but with an actual objective to it. i think with 16 banshees it will get pretty hectic with people flying all over.

    hmm... i actually have, which is why some of the bases are floating in the air. But with the banshees being able to boost away, and then easily shake a rocket with their little spinny move, so i am thinking that more cover would be, well, bad.

    im thinking mostly with each base costing about 500, and having 8 bases will do the trick. plus the capture points, and the giant shield door. it makes sense, but still....

    Sounds absolutely wonderful. I've seen a modded version of this gametype, but the only modded part was the colosseum walls...
    You're flag spawns are beautiful, as well as your capture points. Love it.
    If you need any extra testers, I'd love to help.
