Thanks kavemanr!!! I know I'm spiraling out of contol lol! I do enjoy making them and seeing the new items created from the same technique! Just on tempest trying to make a new spire....but alas the height restriction has put an end to that! Will have to try some new things now and show I'm not a 1 trick pony . Thanks for checking out my map! I do like this one!

Thanks man! Yeah I have been making lots of things using the same method and principle, basicly just roatating the objects, suprisingly doesn't take me long to make them either! Made this map in 18hrs the other day! Same with most I have published on here! I have no problem making maps and coming up with ideas but I have found setting up the game types more difficult. But have it sussed now through trial and error. The lighting on this map changes in three different modes. Purple for invasion , another for invasion slayer and normal for all other gametypes! Thanks for your comment! Hope you check out my maps :)
    feedback appreciated !!! Thanks

Thanks! Please let me know how it goes if you can! I have put a lot into the map! First aesthetically, I am pleased with how it looks and the natural cover and the rocks inside on floor and on either side wall , I managed to capture a tree in the map too... a first for me!
I would like your opinion on 2 things if poss, lag/frame rate and do you feel this map is only aesthetics or competitive. I ask this as so many tell me it's not competitive...usually without even trying! Thanks

    Thank you LikeMIke :)
It is really good to see this map on the board again... Thought it had been long forgotten, ha!
Thank you for your feedback. This is one of my favourite maps and I put a lot into the aesthetics on the map, and I also added as many gametypes as possible. And the different colouring for different games. I appreciate your feedback and comments . Thanks

As always Timmy your maps are aesthetic eye candy.I like how you are now incorporating more competitive play into your maps. This was the first map i had seen by you but it has taken me a while to comment.Nice work Timmy.I have been planning on doing a duel forge just for an experiment and i would like for you to forge with me.I will message you online for more details.

I love the aesthetics. It's original and it isnt just a bunch of random structures but a theme.
The only concern I have is how much budget remains? Because between a maxed out budget and this much phasing, I am afraid that the lag will be through the roof.
Great job! Your forging abilities inspire me

Thank you, some one once told me that the trick with forge is to make thew objects not look like the standard pallet you have off forge, this keeps things looking different and original. The front is asthetic, but I have this working on most gametypes, and that's why I posted in competitive. I didn't experiance lag problems, but I can see some issues as there are so many objects on the front.
    Thanks

Thank you xbg!!! Your support is appreciated. Yeah man this is some eye candy, the inside has rocks and stuff to get around and it is a nice place to do battle, with a very open feel to the map.
I am up for co forging, I really like how you set out your maps, they are always well forged, we will have to put our heads together and see what we can come up with.

Hello & thank you! Yeah as with many of my maps this is a full budget production. I think there is a few bucks left (900). I haven't experianced lag problems, but I can see the problems people can see with the amount of objects in the front. On forge it flashes like a christmas tree, but in game frame rate was good. It is a tough subject lag. I have lagged out many times on maps that have no objects, others on match making, so unfortunitly there is an uncontrolable randomness to lag. And peoples internet connection or the fact that they are using pc etc as well as x box effects this. Thanks for the positive feedback. It is great to know my work is appreciated and inspiring to some :D

Thank you! You are too kind! I spend a serious amount of forging lol.
This was my first aesthetic orientated map. I wanted to create something different. This isn't the usual kind of map seen on competitive catagory. It has so many different gametypes and variations in different gametypes. I did put a lot into this map. This is now the 3rd version of the map. As it has been fixed and improved.
Even though it has the nice front to the colousseum it has a nice space inside to play in. Everyone expects awful frame rate on this map as there is so much work done to fro, but that isn't the case. Played 4 v 4 as intended it plays well and has so many gametypes. One of my personal favourites. Thanks for your feedback :)

wow due those columns must of taken a life time to make. But is the game laggy just because of all those interlocking pieces. But this map is super sexy.

Dude your maps are amazing. The fact you can make your maps look so aesthetically pleasing and still 100% playable is an awesome fact. This one is by far one of your best works. The unique spiraling art of your forge maps is truly awesome. Great job and looking forward to more of your work. DL and liked

Hello! I am glad you found this map! It is one of my personal favourites. I really want to make a re-make of this map, now that I have learnt more. I am happy with the layout and aesthetics although the ball in center doesn't make scence inside. And I feel the alternative side could use a re vamp. I just keep making new maps lol. Although there are a few things I would like to improve, i am happy with this map. There is more to it than lot of viewers have gotten, most just judge from the amount of objects on the front and assume it is laggy, others may be put off with the appearance in forge, as it does flash like a xmas tree. But this is not the case in game. I have played many times, mostly messing around ffa or small team battles. Always been fun.
Really appreciated feedback and I am glad u like my work.

I have a new map ready . I am deciding on an appropiate name before release.

I'm starting a new map and this is the map I went back to to get some tips for building my structures. Even after not looking at this map for a couple of months and seeing all your other recent maps... this one still blows me away with the complexity and workmanship. Simply amazing. -ROCK

could this post please be moved to aesthetic catagory. I think it would be best suited there. Thanks

Man... The things you do with rotation. This map aesthetically beats my Petra map to hell. Kickass. Masterful forging as usual.

Thanks for digging this map up. Petra was an early creation, I started strong but the back in comparison seems week.... And I don't know why I didn't follow Indiana Jones for interior and gameplay. Probably would have made this more successful. I would be happy to see this map moved to aesthetics, I know there are a lot on this catagory that feel strongly against aesthetics in competitive. Appreciate you feedback :)

While I do not doubt this could make for some fun games of Invasion or Slayer, on an aesthetic viewpoint, you did not at any point sync up with a sort of model of the actual Treasury, with the exclusion of the exterior. I'll add that the outside is artfully crafted; you certainly utilized the genorous amount of aesthetic experience you've accumulated over the years. I've seen your maps, and you're applying here the circlature concept that you've proven to manage well at. Despite the praise, the inside of the actual Petra treasury is not a circle-y spire tombed temple, but a flat, blank box. You should apply this to a more accurate rendition if you plan to enter the Wonders of the World Contest with the piece.

Thank you! I agree. This map needs a serious overhaul. I have always liked this map, but looking at it structurally it isn't tall enough, and as much as I like to create the curves of the pillars the framerate and lack of blocks to use elsewhere is a problem. I am going to try a complete re-build and concentrate on accuracy and aesthetics rather than trying to get competitive gameplay.

COLUMNS :) This is a decent looking map, I'm impressed you pulled off a 3-1 map, kudos to you, mate. The aesthetics are truly amazing, like the rock formations and the columns. I'm not sure how the gameplay is, as it looks like a one way in, one way out entrance for Red Team Spawn/Base. I'll have to get a game on this to find out for sure, invite me when your playing this with a group. GT: Over there
