Old news, kinda. I thought it was just a rumor to be honest. Anyways, talk about One piece and other long running Shounen made me make the spontaneous decision to start watching Gintama. I'm watching it as I type right now, I like the OP at the very least, too early to say anything else yet.

Only time will tell. So far the only Live action anime movies I've seen and actually liked were the Deathnote ones and the 2 ones for Gantz anything else like Dragonball evolution I don't even consider part of the anime story. Even those live action Street Fighter movies are a damned disappointment. With that said, if done PROPERLY I feel like Bebop is something that would work as live action, although there are various others I would rather see done first. Because you all know you would watch a live action FMA movie if they made one right. Or better, Akira. Edit: Caught up on all the episodes of Mirai Nikki so far, loving how the main character goes from being a major wimp to growing balls of ****ing steel after around episode 15. Pretty much hated his character for the longest time, now I think he's a badass. I'm pretty sure the english name for the anime is Future Diary. If you haven't heard of it, I suggest checking it out. The main idea of it all is that the god of space and time is dying and decides to hold a competition between humans to see who will become the new god. To make it interesting, he gives all of their diaries the ability to predict the future according to what type of diary it is, and the last person left alive is to become the new god. If either the person who owns the diary dies or the diary itself is destroyed, that person is out of the game and is killed. I won't say anything else other than his diary predicts everything around him that happens, except it doesn't say anything about what happens to him himself, this is because he just observed things around him before the game began. It's pretty good once you get used to how much of a useless wimp he is for a long time. There are some blatant problems with that list: It does not contain HOTD, R+V or Soul Eater. Cowboy Bebop is way too low. And some look so obscure the list compilers must have been fanboys/girls.

R+V should've been on that list, same with HotD. I'm even more pissed that Eden of the East isn't on that list. Its too damn underrated >.<. Nice to see Code Geass though. I recommend it if you like Gundam.
Well... I knew something was wrong when Deathnote wasn't number one on the list. Then, Baccano was too far down, a variety of other anime were there when others should have been instead. Not even all the stuff I've seen on the list belongs on it to be fully honest, I mean A Certain Magical Index and A Certain Scientific Railgun are both good but they are far from the top 50 anime ever. After looking at that thing I feel obligated to put together a real top 50 list. Though thank you for not listing the site, I might have went off raging at them for having no Deathnote. And ziggy, I would actually reccomend Code Geass to people who liked both Gundam and Deathnote, the way both main characters go about the things they do is kinda similar even though their powers are different.

By the way, I would recommend 5 Centimeters if anyones looking for a good romance movie. It gets a bit boring, but it is beautifully animated. Neon Genesis would have to be first if I were making the list though. Every aspect of this anime was depressing IMO, even the ending, though I would still recommend it. quite a few in the "overrated" list are actually really good, so I'm pretty sure a bunch of anime hipsters were voting for that list. You should pm me the site so I can get my rage on. EDIT: Already told sky over skype, but I've been playing Persona 4 (the ps2 game) lately. I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt, the anime is a VERY good representation of the game. Watch or play it if you like: Paranormal Mystery It may be a little slower paced, but I like the way it goes about doing things.
I think those "anime hipsters" voted for at least 85% of the lists. You wouldn't believe how many of them had K-On! as number 1. It's sad that a lot of good anime aren't noticed. EDIT: Sent. Have fun perusing through lists entitled "Top 10 hot anime girls" and "Top 25 glamorous and sexy anime girls", lol. It's rediculous.

True, but to be honest there is a paucity of "exceptional" anime. sigh, I remember when anime wasn't all about boobs flopping around everywhere. As sad as this is, I just found out there was a new Avatar coming out. The trailer looked interesting.
"As sad as this is" what? It's the original people working on something that they've been planning for a while and had the time to develop. They originally planned for like a six-episode miniseries and got it expanded to a 2-season show.
