Okay, so you finally posted pictures. I still firmly stand by what I said that this is pretty much pointless I dont see it being put to good use.
umm, i dont know if youve noticed yet, but pretty much EVERY aesthetic map is pointless. but you dont go around calling those maps pointless do you?
No, I dont but you said that this wasnt really a map and I agree. You said that it could be used in new maps which I dont think it could be. The other aesthetic maps dont really have a purpose but they have a theme. This is just an awkward, door.
when i said it could be used in new maps, i meant more of the detailed aesthetic side of maps, rather than the more playable maps
Ease up dude, If it never gets used in a map, it never gets used in a map. Doesn't mean the map is pointless. Maybe if this was in forge discussion you wouldn't have a problem. And what exactly is your problem with this map? Is it because someone can just punch through the pallet? Easy fix. with shield doors on either side of it right up next to the pallet. His Door might not be the best out there right now but someone down the line might make mall adjustments to it to make it better.
How do you do that without even being able to see the power-up? BTW, my friend did it with a dumpster, so the pallet isn't a problem.
yeah, i might experiment with some different objects later. you grab the powerup through the tiny gap in the walls
After a few tries, it stopped working. and you have to walk into it then take a step back. It is in an awkward point of the map, it takes up too much room and resources. I just really dont like this.
Should I restate what I have already said? Figure out how it's built so you can build it where you want. Figure out how it's built so you can figure out a way to make it smaller and more efficient. Figure out how it is built so you can make it work flawlessly. Do you expect someone to do everything for you? Hey, do you want a map that I am 99% done building? That would make things a lot easier for you. All your little ***** points mean nothing man, other than you are just to lazy to do the work for it yourself. And he's already done the harder part of the whole thing.
dude, i get your point already!! if you dont like this map so much why do you keep visiting this thread and posting on it?
GR, I dont want a forged openable door. They dont work. When did I ever say that I wanted to make a door or that I would want to use one? I said I wouldnt use this one, and I never said I wanted one. I can make my own damn maps. Also, he didnt make this for me, and when you post a map on forgehub, be prepared for critisism. Also, kingkai93, I have nothing against you, I just dont like it, as I've said. I keep posting here because people are taking offense to my comments.
i dont care if you want a forged openable door, i dont care if you think they dont work, all im doing is presenting my work, other people seem to find it fine, if you dont like this, then why dont you just leave this thread alone and get a life, is sitting on your computer criticising mine and other peoples maps all you have to do in your life??
Critisim, is more than just 'this is pointless and stupid' If you don't want to use it in your maps then sweet as. But don't keep putting this one down like you have been just because you don't like the idea. It's no better then saying a map is no good unless it has interlocking. Guess what buddy, I played a map during TGIF that had absolutly no interlocking whatsoever. It was made by Shock Theta. Would you say it sucked just cause it had no interlocking? (actually you probably would) It played a lot better than many of the more recent maps. Anyway, say your peace and then don't worry about it unless you are giving constructive criticism, as in giving examples of how it can be improved. Otherwise you're just spamming.
It was one of the earlier maps on forgehub, before interlocking was used. I would'nt say that it sucks, yes it'd be better with interlocking but it has a great layout. It frustrates me that you think I'd hate it.
