You mean Chronicle? Yes I saw it. Slight (but not really) spoilers below. Spoiler I always expected some twist, like that someone would die because of the power destroying their brain or something. Instead it followed the trailers. Still a good movie though.
it looks more like a slap in the face for anyone with a shred of respect for active service members. putting those real guys in something as embarrassing as a hollywood action movie? letting their wooden acting just make them look like fools? **** yeah america. i havent seen it, but there's no way an entire group of navy seals can act. i'll stick with watching good, real things that tickle my respect for men in the service like Restrepo. Now that put a nice big lump in my throat. [br][/br]Edited by merge:
Act of Valor is military propaganda, period. what a coincidence that a bunch of military hoo-rah bullshit is all coming out right as we're entering another war. make me ****ing sick
im glad im not the only one that had "REAL NAVY SEALS **** YEAH" in a trey parker voice echoing in my head when watching the trailer
even that stupid Battleship movie... more propaganda garbage. although i will probably see that for the VFX, since that's my **** and all... another one that made me throw up was the part in Transformers 3, when the Transformers are about to go whoop some ass, and then they're like WAIT HOLD ON... WE GOTTA SEND IN THE SEALLLLSSS. and then in had this stupid ****ing shot slowly panning close up of hot chick, torn american flag slowly waving in the wind, wreckage of city in background... **** YOU
Yeah, I can't believe they canned the actor in the ONLY non-shitty Hulk movie. Mark Ruffalo is good and all, but if they're going to start switching people around I think Michael Fassbender should be Thor. Loki can be Jude Law.
