If you look at the skills closely, Maya's main ability is Phaselock, which seems to be the equivalent of Stasis in Mass Effect. The branching looks odd, though. Hopefully it isn't simplified.
How dare they release such an awesome trailer so far away from the release date. I'm so pumped for this game, now. And, what, I have to wait 7 months? Lame.
I'm just so ****ing stoked for this game now. I was a little worried it might be too different from the original, but it's looking astounding. I'm pre-ordering ASAP and will definitely be there for the Midnight Launch.
If it holds up to The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned in the introduction of new game mechanics, and in their embracement of humor in the story and the surroundings, I will never be more happy spending $60. man that first DLC was perfect in every ****ing way.
You thought so? I agree, Zombie Island was amazing, but I thought the Secret Armory was just so much better. It's what every single DLC for any game should strive to be: Something that genuinely adds new content and game mechanics. The new characters look great, I love how they're sticking with the feel of the old characters while adding some new to the game too.
Still no competitive multiplayer? Still collect/kill X of Y progression structure? Still as sucky as the trailer suggests? Well if it isn't a GOTY contender I don't know what is.
The old "Don't criticise games because you've never made one" argument. In Time was so awesome right?
The difference is I watched the movie I was judging. We've been over this shuman, multiple times, what you're doing is the definition of ignorance.
But saying something probably will be bad and saying something is bad are two different things. I played Borderlands, and I watched their smoke and mirrors trailer, and it's looks exactly like more of the same. In a bad sense. Just without the novelty of being new this time.
I bought every dlc pack, excluding the last. Zombie Island was absolutely amazing and I go so far as saying that it was the best dlc I ever purchased. Here's hoping that Gearbox won't pull a Bioware/EA, because there's nothing I hate more than paying for an incomplete package.
Dumping a **** tonne of info from PAX, apparently. Who knows where it came from or if it's real, but it all sounds legit: Spoiler There will be three game editions: -The Normal game -The $100 Deluxe Vault Hunters Edition will include a Marcus Kincaid bobblehead -The Ultimate Loot Chest Edition will come in ****ing huge chest from the game And will be around 149.99$ And random Images, because I do what I want: The Ultimate Loot Chest Edition of the game: Mechromancer Concept art: Borderlands 2 PC junk: And zero, because he's a badass: That's all I got. Edit: http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2012/04/08/new-borderlands-2-info-at-pax-east.aspx
I'll be getting this, because I missed out on the first one when it was my style of game through and through. ****ing grinding, loot farming, seriously, and nobody other than shad0w and chris realized I would die for it? I've never even played the first one lol. This looks like sex. Lol at some of the names of stuff... "all out of bubblegum..." Also, do want that glowing katana.
Sweet baby jesus, Zero looks like all the good points I liked about Lilith and Mordecai, that being: A glass cannon that can melee like Bruce Lee. I'm gonna be all over this game, only real problem I had with the first was endgame content... so if they changed that up, I would never put another game into my xbox other than this.
Guys, Borderlands was amazing. I'll definitely be getting this. Though it won't have the novelty of the first (as in any series), it has more content, more fixes and it is something I'll be having a **** ton of fun playing. This is just one of those games that doesn't get stale, as long as there is new content (call of duty *cough* *cough*) Though it brings me to the question. Which platform will I get it on?
It's borderlands, so you answer that question with: Which platform do you have more friends playing it on?
