Man, I need to order in some Microsoft points from the UK. I haven't gotten any of the DLC yet and now that all 4 are out, there's no better time. Keen as pie for Kenshi and Rain, two of my favourites. Not so much for the other two. When I input the code into a UK account and then started playing MK online as Linubidix, my save files were erased. I had to re-unlock everything, and I'd finished the krypt, story mode, was nearly done with the challenge tower and on top of that I was close to gaining mastery with Scorpion. I'm now back up to challenge 250 or so, the krypt is finished again, I've replayed story and... I ****ing love this game. I have actually enjoyed most of the re-completion. Had that happened to almost any other game, I wouldn't have been bothered but I love Mortal Kombat so much. It makes me want to get all the MK games I'm missing. Which is just MK4. But if I'm going to be specific, it also includes Ultimate MK3 and Sub-Zero.
one of the classic costumes coming with him is confirmed to be maskless sub-zero, but the rest of his outfit is the one from UMK3.
dead thread, but does anyone know of a better 360 controller to use for fighting games (this one in particular)? i dont want an actual joystick pad thing, just maybe a non-microsoft controller that doesnt have such a horrible d-pad.
While the thread is sort of alive; Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition was recently announced for a late Feb release. Basically a Game of the Year edition style of release. Comes with all the DLC characters (Rain, Kenshi, Scarlet and Freddy Krueger), 15 character skins and 3 classic fatalities. It seems every fighter that's been coming out has released a "complete" edition some time after the initial release. Marvel vs Capcom, Street Fighter, etc. Ones like Ulimate MvC3 are frustrating because of the lack of content and high prices. However, this release is great news for us Aussies as the game is still banned here and we're not getting an R rating until 2013. So it'll be the easiest way to get the DLC by just ordering the game from places like play-asia.com or ozgameshop.com rather than use a dummy account to attain this stuff. I'd made a dummy UK account and used that to redeem my online pass but it was too much of a complication to add microsoft points.
