BATTLE GROUNDS I wanted to make a good sized 4v4 map for slayer and objective gametypes, and i came up with this. I've changed it a few times from the original design. I found in some area that the frame rate would go down significantly when a few grenades went off, particularly around the middle grav jumps. Using coliseum walls on the floor and windows for the walls has made a great improvement. I'd like to think to maps looks alright too, and each area is easy to distinguish from one another. The only thing that's annoying me is in FFA games, all the colours turn neutral and the whole place feels bland. Helps Anyway, here's the pics; Top Red Spawn Red sniper spawn. this looks nice i like some of the aesthetics such as the flag stands holding the medi kit. you said frame rate was ok but how big is thes map in general? maybe some overview shots???
Here's how to fix your problem with piece color. You only changed the team color on all of your objects. Thats why they turned out neutral color. You need to change not only the team color but also the object color. This will make all of your structures colored. The only annoying part is now you gotta go onto forge and change the object color on ALL of those objects.
